What was wrong with it? I've just got the £78 one, the full hd metal one.

Why not explain the problem(s) instead of just cussing?

I'm asking as I do not want to find out soon, I may return it straight away. But thanks for the 'detailed' info. If I post a comment suggesting something is not good, I mention as well why and about my experience. Perhaps what did not worked for me is something others don't need. So I will not class that as rubbish based on the fact I want a specific task from it and it does not work. The device can perform well in relation to other tasks.
I only want something like this for when going in holidays, watching movies on the plane and basic internet surfing. I do not have high expectations and since my old tablet was only 1GB RAM and Android 6, I am expecting this to be better.

By the way, this is 4 stars on Amazon, based on 85 reviews. Also, £125.

My sister has the older version with a plastic screen. I have tried the newer version, It feels lighter and much smoother with a glass screen. Very vibrant colours on both, playing Full-HD clips.
It will be fine for your usage, and it's cheap. No need to worry about damaging it.

Thanks! Was waiting for the plastic one to come down in price and get it for my 6 years old son but got him another tablet in the meantime. I've got the 'premium' one as I read good things about it considering the price. I believe under £80 is a fair price for the specs, full hd and metal built, I just hope it will come 'as new', as the look is important to me.

I am a bit surprised to see the deal for the Full HD is not that popular, I really believed people will benefit of it as I didn't see any full hd 2 GB RAM for such a low price.

Bought two of these Xmas 2018, still working well but cam be a little leggy at times.

The wireless can be temperamental at times but that could be the virginmedia hub.

Good buy at this price but slightly dated now.
Great tablet, but is Android 7.0 which can be a bit restrictive

The newer model is on Oreo 8.1. it's the one worth going for.

My younger brother has one of these as well and it's pretty dire.

It looks decent but really struggles with streaming apps for some unknown reason?

I previously bought him a cheaper Lenovo 7" tablet (for £40) which does everything perfectly.
