Picked this up today as I was looking at buying a small 7in tablet for use as a portable music player.

It's £50 cheaper than the Samsung Tab 7 a.

A few weeks ago it was £49 because I got one for my grandson.

Argos currently selling for £70 and even that is very overpriced.

Different model, the Argos is a B1-770, the one I've listed is the B1-780 and is running Android Marshmallow 6.

Same price at currys and amazon

For the purpose you said you wanted it is that a significant difference? Would the Amazon Fire not serve just as well for £30.

You get full android with the Acer with a Amazon Fire device you get a skinned version of android which doesn't have the market. I do have a Amazon Fire HD 6 but doesn't take an SD card.

It's pretty simple to add the market to the 7" Fire. Besides to use it as a portable music player does it need it.

I was going to use it primarily as a music player, however I put a few games on it. As it's quite compact it will be my out and about tablet. The reason I opted for the Acer Iconia One 7 B1-780 rather than the Amazon Fire 7 is the physical size of Amazon is larger than the Acer. The Acer is about the same size as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A.
