Just ordered one. Thanks

As someone that know's very little about monitors, can I buy this to use alongside my existing flat screen monitor on my home desktop, and use it in a 'dual screen' mode? Does this just plug into a home computer using USB, so that I can plug more than one monitor into my desktop?

Apologies in advance for what probably sounds like a stupid question to most..........

Thanks in advance for any advice

wow ebuyers deal of the deal took ages to make it to the front page,

you will need a second output scream.

check the back of your pc it may have an extra hdmi or dvi which you could use.

If not you could either get a cheap pci graphics card or even a usb to vga adapter.

Or if on a laptop with USB3, you can get USB3 -> HDMI/DVI adapters for £10-20 on eBay

You might find this quite useful as it shows you the different types of connectors to look for on the back of your PC -

pcworld.com/art…tml

The monitor itself has VGA and DVI connectors. Also if you're buying one, check if it comes with the type of video cable you need to connect it with or if you need to buy one seperately. Quite often they only come with a VGA cable in the box.

That's really useful. Thank you!

Acer K series monitors come with a 2 year carry-in warranty, meaning you take it to a Acer dealer for repair should it go wrong, but as ebuyer is a online shop, anything wrong you will have to find Acer yourself, take it there and collect it when its fixed, you will not get any help from ebuyer so remember this before you order.

Good for a triple monitor set-up? Trying to do this on the cheap....

Are there monitors with a higher resolution than this ?
I currently have a monitor this res.
but have seen better resolutions,I'm sure.
