Acer Liquid E3 (Monthly Contract(s)) £480 @ Three

The reason I am sharing this is because I think it's a fantastic deal and you might too. It's a great 4.7 screen quad core 1GB memory with (only) 4GB storage (upgradable with a microSD) running on 4G on the Three network. My son just got one and it runs very well. The contracts start as little as £14 but I recommend the £20 as it has unlimited internet and texts, 300 minutes and if you are an existing Three customer, you can get 2000 3 - 3 minutes also. You can CAP the billing too ! So if like me, you want to get this for your child, you can prevent the idiotic bills and get a great deal for your money... Less than £5 a week. Great if you are not a massive caller but like loads of data. Very new release phone.

Only two draw backs are no phone case or screen protector but you can sort that out for around a tenner. (Recommended)

Ignore the dates as I do not know of an end date to this deal.

Full spec (single sim, not DUO)

NB The above mentions 4G - this is not a 4G phone.

sorry Banton but there are so many phones that are much better than this one and cheaper.

In saying that at least you tried

ORBuy the phone for £169Get a Three sim starting at £6.90 per month

Or get this phone on a £14 per month contract and it works out at £336 - just over £1 more than your suggestion and more minutes and texts and no £169 upfront payment for the handset

Hey guys... please do the math as pmackers has before you make the deal cold. I'm only thinking of you guys and would much rather your give any spare pennies or pounds to your loved ones rather than these money hungry companies. The more we pay, the slower their prices drop and believe me, what they are selling now is expensive, for what they actually provide. Myself I bought a s7189 and was lucky enough to get a decent deal from three. I realise having my family on the same network with for example 2000 3 to 3 minutes each, we are saving minutes. I tried all of this with t-mobile but three was much cheaper. Having unlimited internet is a must because our home broadband can only do so much and if needed, can tether computers to phones to lighten the load.
If I could manage with just an internet connection for members of my direct family I would be on t-mobiles £20 for 6 months (£3.33 per month on pay as you go) which is only limited to 1GB of video from listed sources with no tethering limits (like giff gaff).

As for the phone, put together by Acer a long reputable company with great specs that is running nicely. It has been likened to the Nexus 5 and probably if a few more minimal specs were added, the worth compared to other contracts could be 50% or more expensive.

Seems like a good if not scorching deal. Typing this on my E2 duo BTW.

its an old phone. Get an lg g2. under £300 now + giffgaff. Much cheaper, better phone & no contract.

It's a shame people ar adding to this by doing no research or checking their facts. The E3 was launched last month making it far from old, meanwhile the deal gets colder putting others off when my hope is to save you some money. The LG G2 was released in Sept 2013 although appears to be a better phone with 2.6 quad and 2GB ram is almost double the price £289 upfront on pay as you go OR (granted with 600 minutes) with unlimited data for £35 a month on the three network making it an £840 contract. Also giff gaff will block your service for using tethering.

Not sure on what world Acer is consisted long reputable-the reliability record for their laptops stinks and I've not heard one good thing about their phone to suggest they're better...

Yes you're right on a 24 month contract, each to their own. 24 month contracts are not for me

You can only tether on limited data plans or on the sim only One Plan deal with Three; when taking out a new deal. You can't tether on phone deals with unlimited data any more.

The phone will be unlocked at time of purchase though, as all handsets on 3 are supplied unlocked nowadays.
