That’s a va panel so g2g will likely be slower and it’s 100 nits dimmer.
Would this be any good to use on a PS4?

It would be wasted on a PS4

Me and my mate were talking the other day saying we should maybes try a monitor instead of a TV screen. Watched a few YouTubers using 4k monitors so wasn't sure which to try.

Yea I'm not saying don't use a monitor, but this is a high frames per second monitor which the PS4 can't do any of.

You are best off looking for a IPS, 60hz with 'decent' HDR.
Would anyone with XBoxOne (not S nor X) experience commend this, or amazon.co.uk/Sam…E4S or box.co.uk/Ace…tml or anything else, please. I am drawn to the 4K Samsung for "future proofing", but the XBoxOne in question has no 4K capability.

Thanks

Does it make a difference if I've got a Pro does that run higher than 60hz or is that the max. If you could hook me up with a link to half decent one it would be appreciated

This one seems recommended which is also available at Amazon if you prefer that retailer:

There really isn't a black and white answer. On an Xbox, the 144Hz would be wasted (although I think some models do support up to 120Hz on certain - but few - games). However, as this is an IPS panel, the colours would look better and more vibrant than the Samsung. The Samsung, though, would look sharper as it's 4K vs 1080p.

The best reasonably priced thing would be a 4K IPS for console in my opinion, but don't expect high refresh rates (anything above 60/75Hz). That said, that could change with the next generation of consoles.
