Trash deal
I have this laptop and it's good but I only paid £480 for it, this price is GTX 1650 or 1060 money.

Please note that you can get the laptop without the steam card for the same price

not a bad spec for the price and importantly the screen is 144hz

There's next to nothing you can run at 144Hz with that spec.

You'd have to play at low settings, even on eSports titles.

What's the point when you won't get games anywhere near that fps, you will be lucky to get anything to 30fps on this.
I got the I7 8750h of this. She flies. So I expect this won't be as good
I have a slightly upgraded version of this. Works really well and plays most games at med-high.

I know some people demand ultra settings etc, but for normal use and most light gaming use you don't need much more.

Generic screen comment...:)
I was in Currys looking at one for my lad yesterday, the fella told me to look end off next week if no rush because if you can believe it they've got another sale starting.

for the same price you can get this Lenovo Ideapad 9th Gen i5 and GTX 1650 …for the same price you can get this Lenovo Ideapad 9th Gen i5 and GTX 1650 from Currys

Good price for the CPU and GPU upgrade, but it would be 128GB SSD only as Lenovo cheekily don't include the cable to add sata drive into 2.5" slot (and charge extortionate amount for it).

So if you are willing to upgrade the SSD yourself (and void Currys warranty), then at £650 (or maybe around £710-£720 including 500GB NVMe cost) the Lenovo is a great deal. Or wait on a Acer Nitro 5 deal, as the newer 2019 model includes 2.5" sata bay (with cable) and 2x NVMe SSD slots.
