75hz is a nice bonus, usually these cheap ones are 60
Good to see monitor manufacturers have stopped fudging their panel response time numbers... oh right, 1ms IPS when VRB (flickering/scanning backlight with reduced brightness and visual artifacts) is enabled. In normal mode this will be a "claimed" 5ms panel with an actual 8-12ms response time, which is typical for every IPS monitor produced in the last 5 years.

LCD tech reached its peak years ago. The poor crystals can't be switched on/off any faster

I would love this but for some reason manufacturers can't put vesa mounts in the centre of the case.
Temping as a cheap console display when away.
2x HDMI, Freesync, Line out, IPS.
Just missing height adjust but you can't have it all at this price.
No VESA. Pain in the arse
A 1ms response time IPS panel with dual HDMI for £100 - seems like a bargain to me.

NO VESA, TOO MUCH TN, NO 4k CROWD COMETH!
All it needs is VESA lol.. most people now use wall mounts, desk arms etc..

Vesa port is at the bottom of the unit, looks like they've done it this way to make in thinner but less compatible if you have a multi monitor setup.

It very clearly does have vesa mounts. Look a little closer, also stated in the spec on the ebuyer page.

Had my phone screen brightness turned down so couldn't see

What's the difference between this and the VG240?

I was being sarcastic.
I've been in monitor limbo waiting for the right monitor to come along but this seems to tick all the boxes... except for the low VESA mounts, and the lack of reviews (never understood why they make so many models).

Should I get this, wait or save up for something better (like the 1440p 32" AOC)?
Do all modern monitors use a power brick instead of inbuilt in monitor?

Sorry I did too, it's difficult to see but there's 4 screw holes where the stand goes. I assume this is the mount point but could be wrong thinking about it.
Just got this from amazin. 114 i paid dammit! Great colours . 75hz is nice for a bit extra smoothness with gaming. Bargain for 100.
IPS and 1ms? Never heard of that combo before.
Every monitor deal gets blasted in some respect, does a good display even exist?
HDMI, IPS, 1MS, and 75Hz ?? Too good to be true!!

I have the aoc 32 1440/144, love it to bits.

Really depends on what configuration you have, 1080p/1440p is a very different game performance wise especially getting the higher frames.
You can't have an IPS gaming monitor, sorry. If it ain't 120Hz it ain't a gaming monitor. Great for designers, not so great for gaming!
Doeas anyone know it sRGB colour coverage ??
Needs to be 144hz imo to be 'gaming' good monitor for the price though
Very tempted TCB offering 4% cashback on monitors from ebuyer
Judging by the picture it seems that this screen has a bit of a screen burn already!

What a load of excretion from the bum.

Unless you have specific requirements for certain FPS games, 144hz adds almost nothing.

Please learn the 'gaming' does not mean you should target a very small selection of games.
1st part of my lads crimbo present boxed. Now all the other stuff

It's 72% so not great if you would like to do any video/photo editing.

I'd like a good monitor that has decent sRGB coverage for design work, but is also comfortable handling a bit of gaming. Some of the BenQ's seem to fit the bill... Any suggestions?

Well it's imo. Less than 144hz is a shambles for any semi competitive games.
Says it has speakers is this correct

This is NTSC coverage im more about sRGB. Usually if 72% of NTSC is covered then is very close to cover 100% sRGB.

That is just the 'pay to win' curse of PC gaming in action.

don't spread animal fertiliser mate.
Do you actually have 144hz monitor?
Good looks, nice and slim too.
Does this have vesa? I'm guessing yes so I've brought 20 to sell on eBay to other vesa luvvers

Why would I need one for mostly racing and strategy games?

Oh no my civ5 session isn't in 144hz. Kill me now.

I was going to ask, how is IPS suddenly capable of 1ms?
Although I think VA are slower, IPS would still struggle to get down to 1ms
