Just a heads up some of the Samsung 1440p 144hz monitors are around the 250 mark which is pretty decent. One thing to note is they don't have freesync (weird that samsung chose to omit it) but are otherwise pretty good using the same VA panels as a lot of other 27 inch 1440p 144hz monitors on the market.
I'm really in the market for a pair of monitors like this. I'm kind of put off by the reviews for this one though
