already listed on here and I've just returned mine as so much ghosting on COD even with VRB turned on. Think i will try a 24" instead

On this monitor it shouldn’t be an issue, likely a dodgy panel - hopefully not a sign of a batch of iffy ones.

So it's not worth buying this??
I bought this a few days ago and it wouldn't even turn on when I received it, hope it's not a bad batch

it's diiffuclt to say as i don't know what settings, PC and games you have/plan to use. Buy it, test it and return it if needed
I’ve just bought mine and it’s wicked! Tiny bit of ghosting, but the panel and performance out way that small issue. Playing CoD is amazing on it!
Bought this yesterday. Seems a great price for an IPS, 144hz, 27 inch 2560 x 1440. Was determined not to buy a TN panel.
I'm not sure whether to bite, Black Friday week has only just started and I won't be making another monitor purchase for a long time. It does tick all the boxes though, 1440p, 144Hz, FreeSync, IPS... (literally, every boxfor me) the ghosting is abit off putting.
How bad is it EXACTLY (without making a mountain out of a molehill)? Is this definitely a problem with the monitor, or could it be remedied by tweaking a few graphics settings (or even monitor settings)?

I'll be picking up an RX 5700-XT from the sales aswell, so if anyone has this combo please let me know what your experiences are. If it really is trash - please recommend an alternative to help a brother out? o/

How bad is what bit?

People complain about four things:
- Dead pixels
- Ghosting
- Light bleed
- The stand

Dead Pixels:
I didn’t have any on mine

Ghosting:
Yes there is a small amount of Ghosting at 144hz. 120hz I don’t see any. However the ghosting is very minimal and not noticeable outside of the UFO test. However I’m not a competitive gamer so I’m sure some wise guy will have more to say about that.

Light bleed:
Yes that exists too (see images), however it looks far, far worse on the pics than in real life and it’s only noticeable in pitch black

The stand:
It works, but genuinely rubbish. I’ve just mounted to a table VESA arm and it looks great.

Overall for £279 it’s brilliant for an IPS panel. Unless you’re looking to spend a lot more to resolve the issues this is the best deal around at the moment.

Ghosting seemed to be a return reason from the other comments here (I just forgot to quote). This is exactly what I needed, I'm fully aware you get what you pay for but I just wanted the rough with the smooth (not either/or).

I didn't fancy paying too much more so I decided to make the purchase. Worst case scenario, I fall back on Amazon's return policy if there are problems. Thanks for that. o/
out of stock
Back in Stock... Just Clicked on the [Get deal] Link!!
It was my son that couldn't handle the ghosting. He eventually settled on the Dell S2417DG (there was one "like new" on warehouse for £214) and I've saved some 65 quid on his main Xmas pressie so im happy.

I think this monitor is good value at 280 but isn't great as there are compromises to be at this price point. if you can settle for 24" then there are probably better deals around (or will be coming up)
