Finally they restocked.

£299 has been the lowest price ever. Amazon can only beat it as they won't charge you £10.50 for shipping fees but this is good enough for me

Was waiting for it a few months. The cheapest IPS, 144hz, 2k monitor. The base is a bit wobly and the HDR is not really something great but for that money is more than OK I think.

Damn i miss the good old 560*1440 resolution/aspect ratio. Good as a a one page viewer monitor or playing vertical mobile games
I've got one of these, it's a great monitor for the money, very happy with the quality.

A few things to note:

-The stand is pretty poor, if you want lots of control over height and angles, you'll need to fork out for a third party one
-The HDR mode is fake HDR and to me actively looks worse, plus it disables a bunch of features.
-As above enabling some features randomly disables other features and it's never clear which option affects which is annoying.
-Leave the overdrive on normal, it's pretty effective at reducing motion blur on that setting and putting it on maximum introduced massive overshoot.
-Lastly Acer are cheap for a reason, there's something of a lottery when it comes to them having issues. To Acer's credit when a power surge through a HDMI socket killed the monitor, I RMA'd it without a fuss and they repaired it in good time free of charge or shipping costs.

Lol...the original title was overridden so blame the mods

Let me see if I can amend.
Thanks, ordered. Been looking for a 144hz 2k monitor for a while and this ticks most boxes. I do wonder if a curved screen would have been nicer though.

Exactly the opposite to you. I was looking for a monitor which ticks the above boxes without it been curved cause I hate them

Respect to your avatar btw.

I've been on the lookout for a new monitor, and was going to order the VG270 when it was £280ish on Amazon, but missed it. I ended up going with the 31.5" LG deal from a couple of days ago (£305ish) because I have room for it and it seems to be very well reviewed at the price point. But if you're on the lookout for a 27" screen that is QHD and 144Hz, this also seems to be a great option, and if I hadn't ordered the LG I probably would be ordering this now. Better deals were available pre coronavirus, but at this point with the heightened demand this is a good deal.

I think the monitor has never been lower than £299 even PC (pre-Corona).

I think it’s been available for cheaper on one or two occasions through eBay codes but this is still a good price. Might wait to see if amazon price match

Heat added.
Had the notification email this morning
Ordered one to replace my aoc 24g2u, bit too small for me, otherwise a perfect 24" monitor

Hi @Draken21 the title information was a straight copy and paste from retailers landing page so if specs have changed they may have amended details on item description title, updated again now with copy and paste of latest details on overclockers (had to trim as there is a character limit)
Thanks! saw this yesterday but was oos. Purchased - heat!

Love how we have created a whole story due to a missing 2 in the tile

No need, the LG is nano IPS, slightly more advanced IPS technology. You paid more and got more.

Have a feeling from some quick reviews that it is a better quality monitor in general, so you shouldnt have any regrets.

They just did as they usually do I guess

amazon.co.uk/Ace…61T

So that would be £10.50 cheaper but with an unknown ETA.

Paid for it with a fee free card on Amazon France. It was €449 a couple of days ago but seems to be up to €475 now.

It appears complicated, doing a return with overclockers.
Will buy from amazon next time, wont cost me £20+ to see that the monitor is not worth it

Would it be worth seeing if Acer could repair it under warranty?
Mine arrived this morning looks like I was a lucky one. No discernible bleed at least during daytime will check again tonight. First impressions are very good
