except some think its ugly... ;-)

Taken from a customer review on Amazon:

From the Warranty - "There shall be more than four (4) defective pixels & … From the Warranty - "There shall be more than four (4) defective pixels & If the panel is divided into nine (9) equal rectangular areas, there shall be one in the central area of the display."

That kinda puts me off ?

Cheers Edi, I'd definitely go for that for the specs, but my parents would definitely agree with the people that think it's ugly I'm afraid :P

hottoshop, doesn't that mean you can send it back if there are more than four dead pixels, as opposed to saying there actually will be more than four dead pixels? :P

have had/got 3 Acer screens and never had a single dead pixel.

Decided to go with this now, question is - size! If I hadn't already spend £400~ on them for Christmas I'd go for the 22" without hesitation, but they're currently running a small CRT so even a 19" widescreen LCD is going to be a massive set up for them I think. The 19" is £109.99 delivered, the 22" is £149.99 delivered - both absolute bargains!

Which do you think I should get please guys?

Difficult one; for everyday use a 19" is more than sufficient, huge if you're used to a 15 or 17. But for that little bit extra , the 22" is a bargain and getting it now could avoid an extra upgrade later.

Hmm yeah that's true! I've got 2x22" on my desk upstairs, and I know my mum has made comments about them being 'massive' - so whether or not she'd want one I'm not sure! Might just go for the 19", and buy them an extra Wii game or something instead.

I guess you have to open your eyes. These are 2 different monitors as you can see from the pictures. These have with different specs from 2 different manufacturers. :whistling:

i upgraded from a 17 to a 20 . used to it now and wish i had a 22 or even been looking at a 26" . your regret not getting the 22" if u go 4 the 19"

Cheers cadmus, I've got two 22" monitors myself but I remembered my mum saying they were 'far too big' so 19" should be ideal for her

Just curious, does this come with a VGA lead?
