Monitors are one of the things I'd be quite wary about getting from the Warehouse, especially when you're looking at spending this much money on one. In my experience they're returned for a good reason and whoever supposedly checks and describes them don't do a very good job. There's always the 30 day return policy though I suppose.

What problems have you experienced?

People will have likely returned these 'high end' monitors due to dead pixels or back light bleed issues. Or it could have just be returned because a better model got released soon after.. Either way I wouldn't want to risk it for this kind of money, even with the 30 day return.
I had 2 monitors, 1 had a massive pressure mark in the centre of the screen and another had quite a few pixel problems. Maybe it was just bad luck but like I say from my experience I get the impression they probably look at the monitor and quickly plug it in to see if it turns on but that's about it.
It's been around this price for a while. It seems to float between £700 and £900 for this monitor. If it went to £500 I'd be tempted but £700 is a serious amount of cash for a screen.
it's a brilliant screen. FYI I returned one of the above to Amazon as the stand wouldn't fit on my desk properly and I wasn't able to drive games at that res with my first gen titan. I ended up buying a 1440p 32" benq instead.

Perhaps this is the one you returned?:p
I'm in the market for this monitor. Cheapest around seems overclockers at £889.99 while the Freesync equivalent has dropped to £599! Scan/Aria show this model as discontinued so i'm not sure whether to wait to see if theres a replacement or just pay the premium and hope I get a good panel.
So it turns out the original x34 has now been replaced/updated by the X34a monitor - which is marginally more expensive.
