Bloody hell. Im trying my very best to not buy a new monitor. Wanted an ultrawide but this one's been winking at me for ages. At £499 it's practically pulled it's knickers down.

Thank god.
Ive been a PC Gamer for almost a year now, I always played consoles on big screen TV eg 55 inch. I tried this Monitor on my gaming Rig its just too small loses a lot of immersion. I just went back to connecting my PC to the 55 inch TV.

Im waiting for Nvidias BFGD 65 inch 4K 120HZ g sync HDR TV’s, releasing later on this year they look phenomanal

At least £3,000 id imagine
This is back on, 10 in stock at £499.00
So close to buying... New ones allegedly coming in a couple of weeks.... Must resist!
worth picking this up or newer monitors on way ? Any info ?
Not bought this particular deal, but I bought this monitor around December (I think) and haven't looked back. Absolutely amazing screen. The only part of it I actually disliked was the awful looking stand but since stuck the panel onto a desk mounted stand and can't even complain about that anymore.

To comment on the chap who talked about immersion, have you actually moved yourself closer to the screen compared to where you were sitting when using your 55"?

I switched from a 50" to this and it has been a massive improvement in every aspect except actual screen size.

Seeing as a high end 65 inch 60Hz without G-Sync costs more than that my guess is it will be a lot more than that or at least at launch.

What features do the new ones offer over this model?.
Only high end 65 inch OLED TVs go above £3,000 high end LEDS are around £3,000 or less, they said it will cost around the same price as a high end 65inch LED. Still though its future proof tech as its true 120hz like in gaming monitors not that fake 120hz motion interpolation tat that people post on here in there TV Deal titles. I reckon its worth holding onto your money and wait and see the prices at launch
I wish I had gone for an Radeon card now, the price for G-string monitors is effin robbery!.
Aren't the new monitors going to be 4k 144hz?

I mean not really applicable for most games outside of esports and not really needed at sizes under 32inch.

Only real advantage of the new ones might be hdr support.

I just don't see them being cheap at all though.
That's a very good price. When I was looking a couple of months ago this was £600 at best
My mate pulled the trigger on this at £550 last month, he has been very impressed with it.

This is a great price and cheapest it's ever been I believe.
I have this screen it’s amazing well worth the money !!
Great monitor, too bad i returned both of mine because of back light bleed. Currently only AU make those 144-144hz panel and they have a problem with QC, so no matter what brand you get, its a panel lottery

Bought this within minutes of rolling out of bed at 6am this morning and checking my amazon wishlist. This and 3 competitors (all using the same panel) have been on my wishlist for close to a year and none of them have been this cheap (apart from on obviously hijacked marketplace accounts)

Yeah I got stung by the hijacked account(s), £££.

Problem is the feedback was great and legitimate. I reported it to Amazon after looking at other products being sold by the seller (from a PC as struggle to see this on a phone) and pointed out loads of discounted tech items. Amazon said it's okay, they're a legitimate seller, dispatched email followed..

Later that day I checked again, all seller items disappeared, so phoned Amazon and said told you .

Credit to them they filed their A-Z and refunded me in about 3 days. Just goes to show, don't purchase anything outside of Amazon and if it looks too good to true, it probably is.

Poor sellers though, they are legitimate companies that were hijacked and had a few busy days apologising and took a lot of negative feedback.

I've had mine about 6 months now and I don't know if i just got lucky or if everyone has their backlight set to maximum but I only get backlight bleed at 40% or higher. 18% gives 120cd/m2 of brightness which is more than enough for computer use.

Will be hdr and maybe 4k, however hoping these drop further..the big thing that's stopping me is Nvidia and whether the new graphics cards will yield a new requirement for gsync.. if so may hang on.

There is the dell sg27 gaming monitor.. meant to be ace..but a TN..
The seller US Locker Room Store is selling the monitor for £320 + £3.95 delivery when amazon sells for £499? seems waaay too good to be true but ordered.

The account has been hijacked I’ve reported it to Amazon. It’s the 5th account I’ve reported in 2 weeks. I questioned them about it and they said they take a reactive approach, I said they need to be proactive and prevent/watch for things like this.

You’ll get your money back as paying through Amazon but it’s a pain!
