They took it down. It's back again. Cheaper again by £9. Cheapest in its range I believe with these specs.

For those that may be confused this is a TN panel, as I understand it, that's the thing that allows for its 1ms response, unlike IPS panels, which have better colour reproduction but have a lesser response time

I think that's 1080p, I'm not sure how nice that would look on a 27" monitor

I don't get it, you posted this exact same deal 2 days ago, it's the same price, why post a new deal rather than unexpire the old one?

Someone else expired it for some reason or another. Didn't know how to un-expire it. Pretty un exciting story to be honest

Again, nice monitor.

As you say, the TN panel has a 1ms response, and the IPS has a 4ms. TBH you won't notice the difference in gaming.

You're basically paying an extra £100 for IPS over TN, which is worth it to some, not to others.

Tempted, ocuk have this listed at £599, with the IPS a further £90

I got this monitor a few months back for £290 and it is awesome! The IPS vs TN debate is a little overblown I think....I was concerned about going TN but this monitor looks great, especially when gaming. I have an HDR 4K TV if i need good colour!

Yes, just keep and eye on it. It keeps fluctuating between full price, £460 & £451 almost by the hour

Was looking forward to getting a monitor like this, truth is though the Pixel Inversion issues put me off. How they can find it acceptable to sell monitors with that issue is beyond me, things like this only get discovered and reported by reviews or users who notice the problem. I guess it would annoy some and others may find it minor, but still..

What is pixel inversion?

has anyone received theirs yet? are many of you reporting dead pixels?

I received mine. No sign of any dead pixels. Colours look a little out so I'll have to tweak the calibration a little. Games are playing out butter biscuit base smooth though

if you look at it from too close, you see 4 dark corners. OTherwise perfect gaming monitor.

overclock.net/t/1…/40 you can see some people talk about it here. To be honest I've never used a monitor with that 'issue' so I've only gone by what i have read and seen in pictures. But it appears like a vertical line of pixels during fast movement apparently, as some have noticed it happening in games in certain conditions.

Problem is most reviewers never mention the bad points, they just give everything glowing reviews so they keep getting sent free crap. I complained to Amazon about the imperfections of the monitor and got £90 refunded (don't try this with an Indian CS rep, they tell lies, are difficult and will generally be very resistant to giving discount)... For £360 I'm more than happy with this monitor and its faults, certainly far better than all the overpriced IPS rubbish I've tried over the last 6 months.

Well said, i agree with you. Thing is there's not much choice panel wise at the moment anyway. I might give it a go, and with Amazon i suppose if i even notice the problem and it bothers me, then it's probably no problem to just send it back.

The monitor is back down in price again. Been gaming away on it. Here's my take. I'm coming from an iMac late 2013 27". The screen on that thing is so beautiful it could make you cry. The colour reproduction is unparalleled. Also it is an IPS. I would say this monitor is a step backwards in that type of quality. However after some tweaking on calibration. The monitor and it's 1ms and G-SYNC with the GTX 1070 is just amazing. I've never played PC games so smooth and trouble free
