In case it helps anyone, the monitor does not have vesa mount

thanks, saves me looking that up
1 week wait for for free delivery though
Good response time for IPS too.
I'm not very computer savvy so please forgive me if this may seem ignorant.
I'm looking for a monitor to view cctv. I was told that a 1080p monitor would result in best views. In regards to that, would this monitor fit the profile?
Many thanks and apologies in advance
Very confused monitor shopper

Does anyone know how this compares to this: currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

As I want to use to connect to my xbox in my room. Was told that response time of 1ms is favourable to this 4ms.

You won't notice any difference between these response times. Unless you are using it for some sort of major gaming event I wouldn't worry.

The one posted here is IPS and is 24" whereas the one from Currys is smaller and is TN. IPS will give you better images.

I'd go for this one over the one from Currys as I'd rather have better image quality than a slightly faster response time but each to their own :-)

The one I posted would also be a good choice for around the same price - it also has a higher refresh rate (although you won't benefit from this with an Xbox or PS4):

Would rather purchase from well reputed retailer Novatech for the sake of a couple of quid.
I wouldn't ever use the speakers that are built into a monitor... Decent price for the monitor regardless though.

The hero we don't deserve, but need.
Just pray you don't have a problem with it, or any stuck pixels. Ebuyer's customer service is absolutely shocking, and they will leave you in the lurch with a faulty product.

You need to read the title again.
I have this monitor and am very impressed with it. Two very slight negative comments... the screen controls are on the under side and are not the easiest to make screen adjustments. ( had the same prob with my previous Acer monitor ). The speakers are useless.
Answer to question from above. No headphone connection .

You need to read what I was replying to again....
I just put three of these in for a client.

Very nice picture. I can't speak to its accuracy, but it just looks gorgeous.

The upside-down halo-style circular desk stand, with the top two-thirds of the screen being really slim, looks really stylish on the desks.

It's also the first time a client has asked me to turn DOWN the brightness. These things could sear colour into your eyeballs, even in a very well lit office.

The controls are a bit clumsy, but you'll only use them once to set the monitor up so that's not really an issue.

The speakers aren't going to get the office raving to DnB or anything, but for basic office productivity they're passable.

Unfortunately, as said above, no VESA mount. A deal breaker that'll stop be getting any more, I think as most of my other clients use VESA desk mounts.
