Having just brought a similar Revo with a Pentium for £99 from ebuyer hotukdeals.com/dea…926

I saw this one slightly cheaper, all be it with a slower Celeron but other wise identical spec.

Have never brought from saveonlaptops before.

Free 5 day delivery via DPD apparently.

Seems like a deal?

I have a Gigabyte brix with a Celeron it has been fantastic. Yes them for what they are meant to be used for. Word and surfing the web along with a few movies. They work fantastically.
Depends on the job really I think. This is getting so cheap you should really start to compare it with a raspberry PI instead of a full PC.

I'll be using mine as very simple viewer for docs/pdfs etc... it needs no grunt.

So compared with a Raspberry PI3 ...

- You get an unoccupied SD card slot
- USB3 rather than USB2
- Case
- Keyboard and mouse
- Display port & HDMI ( Mutliple monitors maybe? )
- Power supply
- Ability to run windows 10
- 1GB more RAM
- Expandable memory
- Faster processor I guess? Celeron vs ARM (4× ARM Cortex-A53, 1.2GHz) ... Not sure how to compare two different architecture CPU's, GHz comparison isn't fair.

For £50 more

My laptop i bought a few years back now, grinds to a halt when you ask it to do more than 3 things for it to compute.

Does it have a SSD ? Makes a world of difference
Got this when it was £59.99 not worth paying more
Yes I added 8gb RAM but that seems a waste - not expecting it to multi-task
Yes it plays HD movies OK and it boots and opens programs OK but try to open 3 or 4 Chrome or Edge pages with video or other media and you'll consider you've purchased the wrong device.
If you just want to browse a webpage at a time or stream the movies then it's an OK device for £60

But don't go wasting your hard earned at £80 you'll be very disappointed

It depends on which one as it varies by generation so not safe to generalise.
The old Celeron 300A was pretty good at 450MHz.
