I'm not sure if this is a national deal.
It was previously sold at £99 about more than a month ago and was shared on HUKD.
I would say it could be a heads-up if you're shopping in Sainsbury's.
I found this at Sainsbury's Milton Keynes the hub.

Great deal if you can get one. The monitor is worth about £50 on its own.
how do I get this? can't find it
Seems a very good price.
I suspect it's the last one in Milton Keynes. It was pretty limited stock when I got one.
If you're looking I'd say don't get your hopes up.
I thought my Revo was a great price at £99, but this is an even better deal. There will, as I suspect, be very limited stocks throughout the country, but if you go to the Customer Services desk of your nearest Sainsbury's store, ask them to do a product/stock search for 'Revo' and they should be able to tell you if any other stores in your area have one. I did that and they called the nearby branch and asked them to put it aside for me.
Definitely the last one in MK ?
This is the last of whatever stock theyve found left in stock rooms that they wernt aware of. I believe Folkstone has 2 left. Thats it.
Was well chuffed when I got one for £99.
The screen is quite poor, so don't feel down if the screen was the attraction of the deal; even after tweaking what I could, colours are a bit washed out and limited viewing angles, but so what, wasn't expecting any better for the price! If nothing else, screen illumination was even across the panel, very little light bleed around the edges, a tolerable panel for office use but no tilt. I got the Revo and screen for my mother when it was £99. Plugging it into her Sony TV via HMDI sorted that out, colours are much less washed out, are vibrant, movies look great. Sound via the headphone socket wasn't working, just a loud hum, but wasn't a deal breaker, for us; sound via HDMI worked fine. It boots up quickly and though it lags a bit in some uses, it's fine for the basic office duties, surfing and a little Amazon Prime. Might upgrade the memory at some point and see if that makes a bit of a difference. Definitely worth it at that price. I went on quite a chase around Edinburgh to get one at £99. The box had been opened and wasn't in great shape but was told it was opened purely because staff couldn't believe there could possibly be a screen and computer in there - the box is surprisingly light.

Wow you got mugged get a refund they sold you used one.

My one I got for £99.00 I hardly used it sitting in a dark room gathering dust worst piece of meat I ever bought willing to exchange it for a IPhone SE thanks.
I've got one of these. Not sure you could use it as main computer as even with SSD in it the machine is slower then my core duo MacBook 2009! It is however, great for a media machine as I've put a 2TB drive in and use it for KODI. My plan is to copy all my media to it and take places when go on holiday in UK.
I got it when was £99 but for the 4GB model. This deal is great. Sure RAM upgrade not hard as I swapped the HDD for an SSD and that was easy.
Will this run Crysis?

Everything in the box itself was sealed and I had to go through the process of setting up Win 8, so it wasn't a used model. I upgraded to Win 10 but then decided to do a clean install of Win 10 from a USB stick. It seemed a little faster, then, but I imagine upgrading the ram would help a little. It's fine for what my mother uses it for. I'll keep the screen as an emergency backup, or something.
Went round several branches when last posted, to no avail. Not doing so again.

Well done to anyone that bags one though.

If you want a one frame a second slideshow then yes.
Bought one but it was awful so took it back. Think of it as a monitor with a free PC and then you won't be too disappointed I suppose.
can someone share more details about spec?
I got it mine only last one left in dundee

Would you mind letting me know what drive you bought exactly and is it working ok? Thanks in advance.
Popped into my local Sainsbury's earlier this evening for grocery shopping and I asked if there was any stock in stores nearby and the only stores showing 'Acer Revo' stock where places a fair distance away ie Torquay, Wrexham, Slough. However they weren't necessarily showing the price at £79. Therefore there may be price differences even if a store has stock.

I just swapped the one that came with my system round (as Linux was playing up trying to install on none main drive) This system is all ready to go so just buy any 2.5 drive. I tried a few in it and it's not fussy at all.

My life feels like a one frame per second slide show when I hear someone do the "Does it run Crisis" joke in 2016.

could definitely put crysis on it
... if you are any good at balancing stuff...

awesome as a media pc..

especially if you have couple of old laptop hard driver to turn it into powerful NAS
These make terrific little always on media PCs, super low power usage and more than adequate to play 1080p (possibly 4k but I don't have a 4k display) but as others have said as a day to day PC it's not ideal if you're a heavy user. Occasional, absolutely but a SSD I'd essential in either case. I've got the celeron with 4gb RAM and put a 128GB SSD in there.

No way for decent gaming with this version, on i3 or i5 version definitely yes but
Celeron 2957U is not suited for games.

No but it will run syphallis
The people that already have a Revo One, what OS do you have installed? I tried to install Windows 7, but it wouldn't let me. 8.1 won't power down correctly & don't won't Windows 10 if it can be helped due to the privacy issues. But I am curious as to what others are using.

I had major issues with the wifi with the pre-installed Windows 8.1
After a month struggling with upgrading drivers, I reluctantly upgraded to Windows 10.
Since then its worked without any issues.
Love mine, sold the monitor. Upgraded to win 10, removed all the bloatware, set to boot with openelec installed on an usb drive and it's a great little media pc, for a bargain price

So did I. Luckily I'd been playing around with a new router and had a wifi analyser app installed on my tablet. I eventually realised the dumb Asus PC had set up its own wireless hotspot ... which was mirroring the frequency with which it connected to my main router. This meant that its hotspot interfered with its own wifi reception - not clever, and crippled the performance.

If you're suffering crippling net delays and disable the wifi hotspot - sorry, can't remember how - you may find the wifi performance improves 50x.
I got it when it was £149 just after Xmas and I thought it was a bargain. I bought an 8 gig stick of ram off Amazon for £27 and upgraded to windows 10 and I'm more than impressed with the little thing. can't fault it.

The best thing is that someday soon the answer will be 'yes' for one of these entry level boxes because, you know, time and progress and all that.
