Seems good?
There have been plenty of other revo's on here but much lower spec. Guess ppl want the cheaper stuff
Voted hot looks good to me
Seems like a pretty good deal. This has ac wifi, a newer i3, 2x ram, 6x storage space than the other deal which went hot at 200£. Not sure why it's gone cold.

Anyone know what kind of ssd this has? Is it msata and would you be able to replace? Looking to use this as a home server/nas to stream to Apple TV and rip blu Rays too.

The cheaper model of the celeron version came with a kingston 60gb ssd standard 2.5" version.
Not sure why you would want to change it as 60gb is enough for windows 10 and a few media apps, with the rest of your media going on those 2 hdd's?

I'm assuming it's msata/pcie because the description talks about empty drive bays to upgrade storage. Their wouldn't be any empty bays if this was a regular ssd. Hoping it is so I can slot in another 2 tb drive, without sacrificing the ssd.

Honest suggestion as it sounds like you're putting this in a corner out of the way somewhere. You might find it better value to get something like a server or similar eg.

£100 after cashback, add 2x 3tb drives that were £75 yesterday and you have a machine for £50 less that offers similar performance and more storage capacity. Or similarly you could get identical storage to this deal for about £100 total in 2x2tb drives. The change you could add one of the 256gb SSDs deals we've seen the last few days (or a smaller one to save the pennies) and you will have space to add more hard drives later and a DVD/BR drive and come out with a machine for the same money. Run it all on something like Ubuntu (which pretty much feels like using windows)[or get a cheap windows key] and you can achieve all the things you want from it but give you much greater flexibility into the future.

I personally was going to get a nettop device for my home media but went for a microserver. I'm glad I did as I would have needed to upgrade within a year as mine is now well into double digit terabytes of disks and still going strong.

Hot. 5th generation u-series Intel with HD5500 graphics - with 4TB of internal hard drive storage! I would be more enthusiastic for a 500gb version for £200, though!

It does come with a Kingston 60GB ssd - I was reading a review somewhere on the net. Also the 2 *2 TB drives are in a RAID formation so out of the box you only get 2TB of additional storage. Some people (I was reading on a few forums) had some difficulty in changing this to get access to the 4TB in a conventional setup. Apparently Acer support didn't want to offer any support for this.

From what I read it seems like a change in the bios (from RAID to AHCI) & a reinstall of Windows might be required.
voted hot, seems like a good deal to me
4TB - say £100
8GB ram - £70
and its got an i3 not bad for price, if thats what your after

I guess I was looking at resell value, £50 down from £70 is a good price and can easily be achieved so if you sell the drives and look at the price of the rest of the hardware its a good price?
I got the i5 version with the same spec for 329 last week. not sure if it's worth the upgrade in real world terms over the i3. its a tiny machine though and a little over specified for 4k but should give a few years of good service.
