Is it second-hand>? It doesn't say it's refurbished or second on the Misco website. I'm thinking of getting one so if anyone has can you give me your thoughts please.

This is a very compact PC - my mother had one for a few weeks before returing it. The touch pad/keyboard is a nightmare to use - you can't use it for any realistic typing as it's so small. We ended up getting a cordless mouse and keyboard in the end to get around the problem! Perhaps not what acer had intended but it solved the problem. Other big downside is that the single channel freesat receiver is only SD - HD would have been nice since this is marketed as a, "slim and stylish digital centerpiece for your living room".

See my comment above. I'd avoid if you want my honest opinion.

In English, "Open box" is a euphemism among thousands of others used to try to disguise that it is second hand. ie, it's been out, and has come back for some reason, and I dont know many people who go to the bpother of paying money to send good gear back!
Unless of course Acer have taken the unusual step of using tissue paper instead of packing tape to seal them up and they have fallen open on the way across the world! ;-)

Reputable dealers take time and website space to explain the different grades of such substandard products clearly to avoid confusion, but when they don't I run a million miles, in this case, it's definitely not so obvious as to poke my eyes out! :-(

Thank you to you both. I'll look at alternatives.
