Also available in 64 gb for £154.99 here - ebay.co.uk/itm…824

There are also listings in pink and black colours.

I just ordered the blue 128gb as a handy laptop for travelling. Seems the best price for a portable with a half decent processor and 128 gb of storage in an ultrabook style laptop.

Resolution 1366 x 768

good price, might consider the 64gb, don't need it for storing photos, just for doing work, thanks OP.

Does the 64gb have the same specs as the 128gb, or is it just the drive size?

Appears to be exactly the same spec other than the amount of storage.

Interesting that the black one that has 64gb, which is £10 more doesnt come with windows 10, says google chrome.

Guessing they must have made a mistake on that one as all the other acer swifts on Argos ebay are listed as Windows 10.

Not a bad price but crappy TN panel 1366 x 768 screen, only 4GB RAM and heavier weight.

Ezbook 3 Pro remains the better deal.

lower res screen saves battery power, that's a key design point for portable computing that does mainly text and numbers and occassional films and photos

Funny then that the 1080p XPS 13 and even the 4K XPS13 has battery life that's significantly better than this.

Oh wait, maybe it's not the resolution that key to power consumption, but the panel type, the backlight technology, and the electronics within it.....

Power consumption is a product of many different factors, not just resolution.

The funny absurd is you as the XPS 13 and the better and efficient light emitting semiconductors panels are not £195, are they?

Once a price point of sub £200/US$200 is set, it pretty much governs the constraints on screen, battery, CPU and all the other component specs and quality.

Even more daft if you compared this with a £1000 XPS 13. That extra money pays for superior battery, just look at the battery replacement price yourself between the cheaper £195 and the £1000 model. You are going mental to compare this £195 low res design point Acer Swift with £1500 model 4K XPS13 using the best energy efficient latest cutting edge tech.

Oh wait, you can get a 13.3" laptop with a 1080p IPS panel for even less than £195 with battery life that is comparable to this....

In fact, that 1080p IPS panel'd laptop only costs £160!

Personally I didn't want to chance a cheaper laptop from China with the risk of customs charges and no real support or expensive costs to post back if it breaks so preferred this deal.

I didn't get get hit with customs charges. Also if its DOA, they cover the return postage costs. If it breaks down 2 or 3 years down the line, you'd still be looking at repair costs with a UK sourced laptop.

Each to their own but I would go for a better spec, well reviewed Chinese laptop like the EZbook than put up with a TN 1366 x 768. If this Swift 1 was the 1080p IPS version, then fair enough but given you look at the screen every time you use the laptop, I'd want a better quality, higher resolution panel.

Did anyone buy one of these? What are they like?
