Still £650 at Currys I think?

Have learned all I know about laptop specs from HUKD, and read a few reviews online that reviewed this laptop very favourably.....took the plunge and love it! Seems to satisfy a lot of factors (HD display, 8GB RAM, SSD, and Intel processor)

Quality metallic structure and feels more expensive than £500 I would say?

An interesting description 👌

I am very fearful, as the HUKD resident IT experts are always lying in wait....and my description was distinctly amateur!
Oh dear! I will stick to my sports equipment and nutrition related deals
The specs are fine but it's still pricey for an i3.
Hey so just so I leave a comment and say why people are downvoting your post (don't take it to heart). The contents of a laptop is important you will need to look at the hardware of the laptop. The laptop you have linked has the cpu of i3 it is the budget line. The i3 is the lowest cpu (i3, i5, i7) there are a lot of other things that go into that as well but that is a general guide line. (Be glad you didn't link a gaming laptop they add another factor to the system)
The name of the laptop is the same so I can see where you got confused.

In future I would suggest you say FHD for the resolution which indicates 1920x1080, whereas HD can be confused for 720 or 1366x768 which is loathed massively on laptops by IT experts

i3 isn't the lowest CPU at all

There's a smorgasbord of "value" laptops out there that wouldn't be fit to clean the metaphorical boots of an i3, including a lot of AMD processors.

Hard to find it anywhere else, as it's a discontinued model I think

Just wondered what you think would be a decent price for such a model please? Thanks

I'd say this is a good price - it's slightly lower than the going rate for a 7th Gen i3 laptop with an SSD

Benchmark is around 3700 for the processor, and it has good "future proof" spec.

Only problem I'd have (personally) with the price is that it's a bit close to the "spend a little more and get a lot more", like this i7 powered HP G6 (£579.99 at eBuyer) which has a processor benchmark of around 5200.

Laptops tend to be like that, in terms of pricing

Refurbished with Argos is basically just a customer return with open box. Also bigger screen.

Around £400 for basically new or brand new seems like a deal to me.

The price for this one is nothing special. The laptop is fine spec-wise, though.

Thanks so much for this.....I was really starting to think I had been fully "ripped off"
Why has this expired? Still showing available? Some may get lucky and be given the i5 version

Ha! Just seen this....reckon someone has taken pity on the worst laptop deal of the day and I was quietly happy with my purchase for a short while
