Reduced to clear, slim laptop with good features including HDMI and 8Hour battery life. A step up from the netbooks.

Play.com has this for £359.99. Its better to get it through John Lewis becuase of 2 years free garantee.

Maxed out my credit card, otherwise would have bought this. My lose is someone elses gain.

It's listed as a Celeron so single core and fairly slow. Better than an atom but not by a vast amount. Frankly I'm not entirely sure why you'd go for this, at 15 inches it's going to be too big to be as convenient or portable as the netbook it's competing with in terms of power, battery life won't be that great and full-spec 15" notebooks don't cost much more. Seems odd to compromise the performance so badly without the usual portability benefits.

This is the sort of thing that appeals to people with poor eyesight, like my Dad.
He finds my Acer Aspire too small but this might be okay.

Plus J L's service would be a bonus.

Thats pretty much what i was thinking until i saw the review on youtube. Its got 8hr bat life and a real slim factor which appealled to me. You cant find another slim laptop in that price range, with hdmi. For light use it seems fine, not a computer for gaming. Free 2year garantee might have cost hundreds aswel.

Nope, I have had a Freeview box repaired by them, but I bought it in-store.
It took a few weeks but I had no problems.
I'd assumed I could do the same with stuff bought on-line.
