Then again, I've had an acoustic before and its been great, I guess it depends on the individuals.

Proper crap. For £100 more you can get a decent 42" plasma....

I would seriously try to avoid this TV unless it is the best you can afford. Its picture quality is really quite poor.

edit: actually I realised its not the exact same tv I had seen but it is the same make at looks the same

The link does not take you to the product, just the Argos site, and if you search for this TV it shows up at£439.85.
A full £20 off at the moment then.

I'd be interested in that deal. :whistling:

i'd rather have a decent 32" set than a 'rola-cola' 37" one :whistling:

I'm not trying to "physically" change anything.
What are you "physically" basing crap on?

Surely around 0 degrees means it's average, not crap?

On the argos site, looking at the reviews for other Acoustic Solutions tellies.

42" 1080 5/5 (84 review)
37" 1080 5/5 (3 reviews)
37" 5/5 (9 reviews)
37" 5/5 (56 reviews)
37" 5/5 (129 reviews)
37" 4/5 (3 reviews)
32" 5/5 (197 reviews)
etc, etc...

...basically 4/5 star reviews, for their stuff...

Actually, the 42" for £469 looks like a decent deal... in fact, i've just reserved one.

Lol £78 shipping.... They must deliver it in a chaffeur driven limo?

Well I got a similar 42" Samsung plasma for £410 delivered from Littlewoods.

They tried to worm out of the 30% discount but because I bought over the phone and was told categorically that it applied I threatened them into submission. I can't see myself shopping there again but a deal is a deal.

OK it isn't 1080p but frankly the difference between a 720p Samsung and this is similar to the difference between a 5mp Canon and a 10mp Technika camera, and I know which I'd take....
