Showing as out of stock for home delivery when I went to checkout (at ~14:00).

Works for me, im just about to move in to a new house might get this... anyone know if its any good or not

Been waiting ages for a 26" deal, then two come along at once... (only I bought the more expensive AOC option!)

This seems a real billy bargain!

It's got integrated freeview and wall brackets are supplied. The non-freeview model is more expensive btw, which may mean that this is a mis-price.

Trying hard to resist;-)

Arrgh now out of stock - got right to the order then recived o/o/s message when completeing card transaction:x

We're having a problem at the mo direct linking to argos, so search for the cat no in the meantime :5292026

I've just called Argos about this TV. It's out of stock and as it's been discontinued no more stock will be received.

Cheers
Nick

Ahhh :x Got right to the very last screen when ordering before it told me they were out of stock. B@$¬ards.

I have a reservation for one of these at the Argos in Wembley that will have expired now if anyone is interested and quick enough.

Didn't think they had them in store?! How do I get it sent down to Southampton? Loftus, why didn't you buy the unit btw?

If you phone the reservation number, you can reserve this items in stores at this price, even thought it says on website you can't reserve for in store collection

It is component input you are talking about. not sure if the tv has it though sorry.

I didn't buy it because it was reserved for my father - whose telly went kaput! - but he decided it was too big for his lounge!

they in stock in derby, just reserved one over the phone. thanxs

Just nipped down to Argos in Southampton and nabbed one. Was a bit dubious when I took it out of the box as there is a lot of plastic surrounding the screen but it's a pucka bit of kit (as Jamie would say). All sorts of settings to tune picture, sound etc.
Thx. Platinum, just gave you some rep. points for the tip.

Anyone know how to connect an aerial AND Sky via one aerial socket (TV is being used as 2nd TV so can't SCART connect it to sky)

Could you please tell me if this has Component and VGA sockets on it? Cheers.

Hi there i was wondering if you could report back on the sound and picture quality and buld thanks,

not sure to buy this one or the bush lcd tv.

thanks

Can't comment on the 26" one but I bit the bullet and bought the 32" one.

Very easy to set up and auto install.
Freeview is perfect
Sky is good
Have a LG Divx DVD player hooked up via the HDMI socket and the picture is top!

Worth the £399 and so much better than the Bush they are trying to fob off on you.. 1 Scart and NO freeview no thanks Bush!!

PS no VGA but plenty of other sockets!

I can confirm this. Did it today even though it said out of stock at my local store.

Can anyone confirm that there are mounting brackets included, as it says nothing on the box. If not, then where do I stand with Argos, as it says that they are included on the website?

Cheers to everyone on this! Great price!

Welcome to HotUKDeals new members here and Thanks for all the feedback guys

Thanks for the original post too joannemc3 ;-)

Thanks for the info:thumbsup:

Many thanks for this - have just reserved one for store pick-up over the phone (thanks for the tip).

Website let me get past entering card details and then said "out of stock" and not available for instore pick-up (big porky pie!!)

Well pleased - says supplied with wall brackets so not worried that it may not fit on the chest of drawers in the bedroom! It has two scarts so ideal for sky multiroom and the DVD player. Other half has gone to pick it up in case they raise the price again by tomorrow :giggle:

WooHoo!!!

MDPH, yes it has a basic wall bracket set in the box.

Hi

Ive been monitoring this site for a while waiting to pounce on something and at last i have Whoop!

Picked my tv up from Bath and it looks sweet! I was a bit worried about the build quality at this price but on closer inspection no probs!

Excellent value lots of features a real bargain

Thanks alot

(jus need u guys to point me in the direction of a deal for a 42" now :))

Saw post at 6.40 - set now fully installed in bedroom (8.00) - can't thank you all enough. Think I'll have an early night :whistling:

Out of stock

The brackets are included - awesome. now does anyone know where I can get some power extension cables, and component extension cables? or a component video lead for an xbox 360 and a kettle lead about 10 metres long?

Just plug your Sky ariel into your sky box and use a standard RF cable (male to female I think), to connect from Sky to your tv.

Then go into your TV menu and re-tune your tv channels, it should pick up Sky on an RF input, make it either channel 6 or channel 0, it's up to you.

EDIT:

Ah just re-read your post. Do you mean you have Sky connected to one tv in your living room and you want to feed it to this tv in another room?

Main TV is in the living room along with the Sky box and the new LCD is in the diner/kitchen on the end of an RF cable from the sky box. As it has freeview I was asking how to connect a digital aerial as well as the RF cable from Sky to it.

Q. has been answered on another thread, A. is to plug freeview into your sky box (!) and it will then pass through to RF2 for the other room. Got to buy a new aerial before I can try it thought as the old one rusted off several years ago and I never got round to replacing it (what's the point with sky)

Just had an E-mail from Argos, This is now back in stock for home delivery, limited availability so be quick if you wants one.

Looking to get one of these at the main tv in the sitting room to replace a 28inch thomson crt style tv.

Would people recommend this as a main tv, it will be connected to a dvd player and humax freeview pvr
