Ha....

Evokes memories....

This are photos of my parachute Action Man coming off the roof of our flat in Malta in December 1970 - He was my Xmas present and I wore myself out running up and down the four floors to throw him off again!

Thanks.
Good price for the Footballer, for free C&C, £16.99 at Amazon (when I posted on the other ActionMan post last night).
Good luck though if there's a problem and you need to return it after the New Year.

Now 16.99 in amazon...
"Enemy Tanks Approaching"
be careful with c+c they may no longer be trading come tomorrow!! unless they find £9m to fund the black hole in their pension fund

Doesn't talk either
This is the one harlowlad wants,
"Gripping hands"
Action Man... Did you just assume their gender.
The fact the eyes don't move and they don't talk is a MAJOR schoolboy error.

This new generation of decision makers seem to have lost the plot.

The Last Jedi - anyone? (ahem)

Why is the soldier wearing red lippy?

Spent all my pocket money on Action Man accessories as a kid. No makeup though, unless I've blanked that memory out
Not available for delivery now it seems.

Apparently based on the early version of Action Man, hence no Eagle Eyes.
No eagle eyes
Anyone else have the Capture Copter and Intruder?

Why on earth the makers of G.I Joe/Action Man thought it to be a good idea to have a cave man like enemy is beyond me.

I had the intruder with his incredible bear hug. Well...not really. But didn't have the Capture Copter to go with it. Think I had to decide that xmas between that and something else, and went with something else.

No, but he did assume their sex.
12” bit of plastic for men , please refer to the 20% off at Ann Summers for the ladies 12” equivalents
Anyone else hearing the theme from the Great Escape?

Clearly straining, should have been sold with laxative choc.

I prefered Stretch Armstrong and Stretch Monster back in the day!
pmsl just sold mine on ebay for £70 the other day. If ever buyer sees this he will be kicking himself
These things are the worst thing that ever happened to collectors. Now half the stuff sold as vintage is from the 40th anniversary range. Bah humbug I say.
I would have thought eagle eyes for a football Action Man was essential. How is he supposed to ‘give the keeper the eyes’ whilst taking a penalty kick?

Those pics (and story) are amazing. They look really artistic actually. If I had loads of money and had an approprately expensive room i'd pay you a whole bunch of money to have that 2nd print on my wall
Thanks for sharing!

Nah,

You can have the picture for free! It is the season of goodwill after all! I can even print it out A3 on plain paper and stick it to a piece of card and post it to you if you want...... but the original image is a scan of a slide from my parents pictures - I did over 3000 flipping scans - so the picture is not brilliant really!

(Have you found a deal on cheap sherry or something? Seems a bit early in the day to be drinking for me - even at Christmas!)

Merry Christmas!
