cant add item to basket
Polyester isn’t healthy...
Excellent price. Now OOS.
Great price Ignore the chill!
Stock back in 8
No stock now. Needs to be retired.
Depends on how you use them ;)
Would never buy from Activ instinct again. Bought some goretex boots and a Coat in June. Coat arrived on it's on, parcel said "1 item of 2" and also was sent from a returns center. I pressed them on where my £90 boots were and after four days they informed me it was actually out of stock and now discontinued and I would be refunded. No response to me asking why it was sent from a returns warehouse. The website still shows the exact same boots as in stock...
I paid via paypal, no order confirmation and neither was my money returned. Be aware
If I were you I’d buy a lottery ticket this week. It seems like your luck is in! ;)
Recieved my order of 3 packs and ordered 3 more
Not surprised, same outcome as everything I've ever ordered from them (annoyed) As usual, as of right now this item can still be ordered via their website, but nobody will ever get them. I would say it's scam but I know some people do receive their orders, at least occasionally (skeptical)
ActivInstinct strike again. Had my order cancelled with no explanation why. (mad)
email saying dispatched....Went to local Blacks: "we received communication that item has been discontinued". 3x messages posted on twitter to activhelp; no replies.......Hoping to see a refund on my paypal account
I just collected my purchase. Very happy customer for this price. :)
I have had good experiences in the past
+1 I have recently pointed the trading standards their way...their best bargains are always cancelled the next day. They blame stock issues but its always the same and it never goes out of stock on the website.
Heard too many bad things about activ instinct to be tempted by any of their deals. Won’t vote either way
Has anyone seen a decent backpack reduced that would be suitable for me to take my shopping home while on my mountain bike,so not extra huge but not a tiny one that only holds a loaf of bread, what size do people think at least 25 litres maybe up to 35 or is that massve?
Out of stock for me! Good price though!
Please read reviews of this retailer before you make a purchase.
I've seen the Amazon one but it's a very common colour that I would imagine would be a nightmare at the airport. Top cashback are also offering money on this which also brings the price to Amazon and I think the colours on this offer are better with activinstinct.
Found it but from the pic when you choose it looks different to this bag although its a tiny pic
I just searched Helly Hansen duffel on my amazon app. It was the first bag that came up, then select the size. Unless it’s only for Prime customers? I’m not sure.
I cant find that item, happy to be steered in the right direction though
I know nothing about this bag or brand, but they have a 90l HH duffel on amazon for £35.70. No idea if it’s a better deal or anything, but it may be of interest? (y)
Happened to me 6 times with same shoes inside of 3 months. Have raised it with trading standards now
Nope still oos order gets cancelled as I said before
The 13L Osprey Daysack is back in stock, not bad for £20
Handy for the beach, camping or even in a boat or canoe. Keeps stuff dry.
What do you use this for? Going inside your backpack?
Have you a link?
I have on of gtx models. They can be waterproof but is like you walking on ice even on dry stone. It's probably depends on model.
Gooutdoors price matched this (they won`t accept discount codes) so after 78 they took off 10% so i got them for 71. I see Amazon have the browns for 68.99 as well. I was quite reticent having plantar fasciitis but they`re the comfiest hiking boots i`ve had and i didn`t slip on 2 days hiking in the rain. I`m definitely getting another pair.
Don't they both use Vibram? Probably just two different qualities on two different models.
Been reading a lot of hiking boot/shoe reviews recently. A lot of the anecdotal stuff that I've seen about Merrell is that the quality isn't what it used to be (even for the same models). Just look through Moab listings on here from the past little while. I've never owned any but seems to be the prevailing opinion.
Good. Sticks out from your back a lot due to the holdall design, but comfortable and secure.
Hi lazyfatboy, how is the bag when you use it as a rucksack with the straps ?
Ordered. Thanks OP . Used code and £25:50.
144? I'll stick with the 2 I've got, seen to be serving me well 8)
That's a lot of head
You've got a lot of balls, hot ones!
Agreed Traction is not good on new Merrell shoes as they have changed the material used for the sole of the shoe (I think they call it Vibram). The result is any moisture on the sole make it very slippery which is not good for outdoor shoes. I have had 2 pairs of Merrell Intercept shoes and both have had this problem, which has been discussed a lot on Internet forums. As an example I walked into a supermarket after walking through a wet car park and nearly fell on my butt when my Merrell shoes slipped in store. I’ve had the same issue out walking when stepping on rocks - almost no grip at all
Tempted as my daily commute involves a decent walk. Had Northface and Merrells in the past and thought I'd go cheap with my last pair and Men's Camborne Low Waterproof Walking Shoe for £35, they're not as bad as I thought they would be and better value for a daily wear.
for those looking for a waterproof version of these check out the MOAB 2 GTX from the same website, they have Goretex and with 7.07% TopCashBack come in at £56.49 with delivery. sorry I just bought the last pair of size 11s (embarrassed) in black, but there are still some left in grey for a couple of quid more. might want to add TCB to the description @Tacavas. great deal!
thanks OP i picked up the mid rise gtx version for 71 quid delivered nice find
They have a lot of material which I suspect will be heavy when wet and difficult to dry whilst hiking in them. Uncomfortable when wet also I suspect. Just too much material when wet. Mountain Warehouse has a shoe which is lightweight and dries quickly. Forget the name bit it is, IIRC, blueish grey.
