Since it’s you op .. Heat!
Had an older adata drive, perfect never had a problem with it.. Heat for this newer model.
Been using the previous version SU800 for over 1 year now and so far so good. My old MBP was reborn.
It's ebuyer. That's an automatic cold.
I have the 240GB variant of this in my XBOX and can't fault it. Heat added!

Strange, I've been buying tons of stuff from Ebuyer since November 2003 and never had any problems. Returns, replacements under warranty and refunds have all gone without a hitch.

I've had two Adata SSD's, both from Ebuyer. They are both still performing faultlessly almost six years on.
But it’s so small

Lucky you. I'm at the point where I'm going to be writing a letter before action to them this week.
Can it be used as external drive?

Bought a faulty laptop from them. They refused to take it back for refund. Instead they opened it returned it back to me with missing screws from the case and damaged. Pursued matter through credit card company eventually secured a refund from them not ebuyer. They also banned me from their site because I complained (actually I now consider this as a positive). Prior to that I was a regular customer of some 11 years. Thankfully I paid by credit card. They should carry a 'caveat emptor' warning.

In my case, it's an RMA that began 4 weeks ago on a monitor, a replacement for which 2 weeks ago their courier (Yodel, of course) delivered to my scumbag neighbour who signed with a false name, claiming to be my 20-30 year old son (I'm in my twenties). They're now refusing to do anything further until Yodel "completes their investigation", which seems to amount to their fobbing everyone off.
.
So, yeah. Not good.

With me, I bought a laptop and they never delivered it. Yodel (their selected courier) never delivered it as last know location was in a depo. This was maybe day 8-9 after i expected it to arrive (was over xmas).

Anyhow I called to notify them, nope they don't give refunds for products after 7 days (this was actually listed in their ts and cs).

Multiple other phone calls got me nowhere. Thier policy is if you don't notify them in 7 days they just wont refund.

I asked for contact details for their legal department and essentially was given no they don't have to refund me for a contract they never fulfilled.

After a lot of back and fourth I had to tell them exactly what laws I felt applied which meant they had to refund me. I had to dig out exact numbers from the distance selling regulations and all sorts.

Eventually I got my refund and I followed this up with emails asking what would happen in the exact same situation with me or another person because what they are doing is illegal and they can't overwrite laws with ts and cs.

Essentially there stance is the same, no refund past 7 days if they lose a parcel.

I checked my account to see how much I had spent since I was 16 and via companies. £16k. Never touched them again.

If you search 'ebuyer refusing to refund' it's still one of the top links in Google and it's on HUKDs too!

Yes but you will need a SSD caddy or USB to SATA cable but for not that much more you can buy a Kingston, Sandisk or Crucial SSD from a better retailer like Amazon.
ADATA is a good brand, not well known in this country but very well known elsewhere.

Same here. I. E. Got HP printer last year (over £100), delivered next day and it came well boxed.
