Great entry price for a high(ish) capacity drive with 3D NAND, ideal for a secondary storage/cache drive or single replacement for a laptop. Cost is 16.6p per GB, which is very low.

This is a standard 2.5" form factor drive, 7mm high, and uses the SATA3 interface.

Specs the drive can be found HERE!
If you want the full Datasheet that can be downloaded from HERE!

ADATA offer a three year warranty on these drives, and I would consider them as a good alternative to the like of Sandisk/Kingston etc.

If you are looking for a tier one drive like a Samsung/Crucial, then the best value at this capacity is currently the Crucial MX500, which is quite a bit faster than this drive and is only £182, and I would say the extra is worth it if you are using it as a main drive for your O/S etc.

Here's a link to the MX500 Datasheet for your comparison LINK!

That looks to be the better deal but how trustworthy is that site?
Been thinking about an SSD for the PS4.
Seems a decent price for the capacity, anyone used this SSD before?

seems legit - correct details available at companies house and supplier registered since 2012. Mainly sells through ebay. Also premises can be made out on google maps.

If purchasing through them please provide feedback.

Seems pointless given the bandwidth restrictions on the PS4.

Plus a quick Google suggests that the PS4 doesn't support TRIM, so the SSD will slowly get slower as you use it.

I'd suggest you'd be better off with a 7200 RPM hard disk really, would be better value for that use case. Perhaps one of the SSD-HDD hybrid drives that people seem to use in consoles would be the best.

Its well worth adding an SSD.

Went from the painfully slow 5400 drove they include to an SSHDD hybrid drive, with a decent improvement. Then went from that to an SSD and it's noticeably snappier and quicker at loading many games.

Yes it's limited by the PS4s bandwidth, but everything is instant when browsing the dashboard, and games like GTA Vice have their load times cut from 2 mins down to around 30 seconds.
The only games that didn't really have any difference were Destiny 2 and anything else that relies on servers for loading.
Would of been good if they followed suit and upgraded their warranty to 5 years just like Crucial.

SSD arrived via DPD, item well packed with lot of bubble wrap, unlike Crucial which shipped SSD in a plastic postage bag.

be good for the ps4 pro as an internal and use your old hard drive in an external case and plug it into usb3 port probably get better performance from the old stock internal in an external case aswell

the unfortunate thing would be the old internal would probably need to be formatted losing all the stored games to use as an external storage device...... why sony why..... paranoid
