I’ve been waiting for a price drop on this 2tb card for my PS5 for a long time. It’s one of the fastest internal drives available. It includes a heat sink which, importantly, actually fits inside the PS5!

Obviously works on gaming PCs, too.

XPG GAMMIX S70 BLADE PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 2280 Solid State Drive
Got a PS5 and need more capacity? The GAMMIX S70 BLADE is your answer. Plug one into your PS5 and enjoy better, smoother performance over the built-in storage.

Speed Ahead with PCIe 4.0
With the latest PCIe Gen4 interface, the GAMMIX S70 BLADE will help you dominate the competition with sequential read/write performance of up to 7,400/6,800/MB per second. That's up to two times faster than PCIe 3.0 SSDs! For ease of use, it's backward compatible with PCIe 3.0.

* For PS5 used limited by PS5 operating system the read speed is up to 6,100 MB/s and above 5,500 MB/s which PS5 required.

Cool in the Heat of Battle
Sporting a robust high-temperature resistant aluminum heatsink, the GAMMIX S70 BLADE gets rid of heat effectively. So effective in fact it is able to reduce temperatures by up to 20 percent. Plus, the heatsink looks amazing too with its streamlined surface and ridged geometric lines.

Made to Perform
Compliant with NVMe 1.4

Higher capacities and enhanced efficiency and durability with 3D NAND Flash

Boosting Your Performance
In combination with Dynamic SLC Caching and DRAM Cache Buffer, the GAMMIX S70 BLADE gives you a performance boost for video editing, rendering, and gaming.

Security and Integrity
On top of its core performance characteristics, the S70 BLADE supports LDPC error correcting code technology to detect and fix a comprehensive range of data errors for accurate data transmissions. In addition, with End-to-End (E2E) Data Protection, RAID Engine support, and AES 256-bit Encryption, the S70 BLADE ensures data security and integrity.

That wafer thin peice of Aluminium on top shouldn't really be condidered a 'heat sink', there's nothing for the heat to sink into, lol!
I know it has to be small enough to fit into a PS5, but that's a bit much.

That said, reviews say it runs pretty cool (for an NVMe SSD) when reading, so shouldn't be much of a problem in a PS5.

The 'blazing fast speeds' claim by ADATA doesn't really make it better than other drives though, at least not in a PS5.
They are sequential speeds they are bragging about, and when it comes to game loading times it's random reads that matter, and this drive will shave 0.5 seconds or so off game loading times compared to some other drives (980 Pro for example), so not a massive difference, but still a difference.
There are still quicker drives out there for game loading (Crucial P5 Plus, WD SN850), but not at this price if you want it shipped form the UK.

You can get the Crucial P5 Plus £150 from Amazon US though, if you don't mind the wait -

Apparently loading times are a fraction quicker with the newer firmware on this ADATA (talking like 0.2 seconds quicker, still not as fast as the P5 Plus), so might be worth updating that first if you can. (edited)

Anyone that's after a 1TB drive, this is a great option (not competing with this deal for obvious reasons, this drive is 2TB and faster) -
