If your car requires it you will have an additional fuel cap (usually blue) any car that requires ad blue can use this.

I see ad blue as a positive thing. It costs about £10 for 8k miles and means a 2ltr 190hp diesel car has a annual road tax cost of £20. Can’t complain.

it doesn't reduce your road tax, my 2 tdi is only £20 and i don't use it, all new cars are £140+ too regardless of this stuff

Bought when Tesco were doing £20 for 30 L.
I have'nt done any searches so I dont know anything about this stuff but have seen it advertised in garages of late .What is it and what does it do. I'm sure the guy's in the know on here will give me an expalnation.
It's used in your exhaust to reduce emissions.

Correct, I recently bought a new F-Pace 3.0D with Ad Blue and the road tax was still £450.
