'Heavy duty' and 'Plastic' are a contradiction in terms.

I bought this 2 years ago, put no where near 30kg and it's bent

bought these kind of plastic shelving and dissapointed with the quality then eventually settled with galvanised steel shelving from eBay, cost around £20 each (even less if you win the bid on the right time)

This would be a waste of money. You are better of paying £2 more and getting it from B&Q.

I've got both the metal (homebase) and the plastic ones (aldi and argos versions) and I actually prefer the plastic ones for most things. They are easier to put up, lighter and still very strong. Plastic also never rusts of course but won't do as well in direct sunlight.

The metal ones are shockingly weak considering they are made from metal but they probably can hold more.

The key thing is that if you want to load these up to the limit you need to put the things on gently and distribute the weight on evenly. If you clonk a 25kg toolbox onto the bottom shelf then the force is going to be wayyy higher than 25kg for a second and it may crack. If you place it gently, it won't.

Absolutely love these and have them in the garage and spare room. 4 in total. Not the most elegant but excellent value.

didn't know these shelves swing that way.
