I got this offer to and was about to post it. For some reason though when I tried to take up the offer, as I would like an additional Q mini box, the website crashes. Contacted support via Live Chat and they could only offer the box for the original £99. Hmmm.....

Just done over the phone

But dont you have to pay the £12 extra a month on top for Sky Multi room?

No, if you have Sky Q, you don't pay an additional monthly fee for multiroom. It's included in the premium for Q.

Only applicable on the first additional box but good deal otherwise.

ooh, my email says £20 for the box and £12 subscription... perhaps I'm finally a "favoured" customer?!

You still have to pay £12 per month for the service, even if you're on Sky Q

Are you sure? I have Sky Q silver box and have to pay for the multi room, £12 a month.

No it isn't. You have to have multi room at £12 extra a month over standard subscription. I know because I've just upgraded to Q with a mini box from single room sky+

I may get this though for £49 as I've just had an email too.

Tried again on the phone for 2x additional boxes and they wouldn't budge.

Well, with 'normal' Sky+HD you pay your £12 extra and get a free box...at least I did...this just seems one more reason not to go for a 'Q' upgrade!
...feckin' ridiculous, you lot must be rolling in money you want to chuck away...and I'm sure Sky loves you for it.

Hot from me great price

matthewnunn1986

You do if you've got the 1tb

You do full stop. I have the 2tb silver.

On normal sky it's £12 per month per multiroom box.

On Q it's £12 a month for up to 4 multiroom boxes. £99 initial cost but over the long term it's cheaper.

After 8 months if you have 2 or more multiroom boxes then Q is cheaper!

Nope wouldn't give us it. They said as we already had two on lend we couldn't have another at a discounted rate.
I said we paid £99 for the second box we own it! - They said we didn't and we didn't, the fee was to install the system.
Ridiculous!

The sky q boxes are loaned to customers but that also means that if it breaks down then you do not have to pay to get it fixed unlike the old sky+ boxes that only had a 1 year guarantee then you had to pay for repair call outs et

I've the 2tb and don't pay extra.

everything sky do is tied into another package and ll of a sudden it mounts up, I took sky sports out on the 2 tb box and a sky mini for bedroom, to get full hd package I had to sign up to box sets thing, because the sky mini has always to be on standby I said I don't want the mini box, they then said you wont get the 4k on q box then, so told them to shove it 3 days after install, just a bunch of crooks

How do you get this?

Hot from me i rang up as online chat is useless got 2 mini boxes arriving on wednesday £49 each cheers op

Sit by the phone and wait lol, either try phone or sky chat and ask.

I'm not an existing Sky Q customer so appreciate I'm probably not eligible. I thought I would have a look online but kept getting an error. Called and it's still the same offer as it was before for me - £60 for 2TB, £40 for first mini and £99 for second mini. He said I could order one box and a mini and then see if I can do a separate order later but he wouldn't budge on the 18 month contract so I ended the call.

Heat from me. I'm on a decent discount for my overall package. Already have one mini box, but begrudged paying £99 for another. £49 includes them coming out to install. These can and should be self-install, but at least if they send an engineer out they will sort out any connectivity issues.

Like others commenting on here, I got the email offer but the link did not work. I called them up. They were busy but sent me an sms with a Facebook chat link. Worked a treat.

Is this offer still available? I recently reduced my sky plus HD package from £83 to £53 pm and want to upgrade to Sky Q. They offered the £60 for main box and £40 for first mini box but then £99 for other 2 I need, but really want them to do all the mini boxes for the lower cost...any chance, do you reckon?

I don't think so. You could try ordering main box and mini, then ordering the other minis later but there's no guarantee you would be eligible for the offer. Have you tried calling?

Just an update, I have finally managed to get what I consider to be a great deal for Sky Q (if there is such a thing with anything you get from sky!!). As noted above, I reduced my Sky + HD monthly payment from £83 to £53 and now they have agreed to supply a 2TB main box plus 3 mini boxes for £199! It did take a load of phone calls most days seeing if they had any offers and finally they did (by referring back to the Sky Q offer they gave me when I was negotiating down my monthly bill). So pretty happy all in all, just hope the Sky Q experience is up to it! Just one final question, I currently connect my Sky + main box to another room via Cat6, will I still be able to so this from the main box with Sky Q and still get UHD pictures (there is no room for the mini in that room as the TV is up on a wall!)? Cheers

Well I've just got the Sky Q 2TB main box and 2 Sky Q mini boxes for £81.50 all installed.

What offer was it pal have you got a link for it
