They look plasticy and not very comfortable, I have these

I recently bought these from another retailer.

I wasn't sure what to expect but having worn them I have to disagree on both counts.

I've got a fair few pairs of adidas trainers and have never known their finishes to be plasticy. In fact, the uppers on this particular trainer are actually leather.

As for comfort, I went a half a size up as I've ( and many people in the HUKD community) found Adidas sizing to be a little less generous than other brands eg, Puma, Nike, Reebok, K-Swiss ...

Unfortunately it sounds like you might have counterfeits. Where did you buy them from?

I personally wouldn’t go up any size. These are bang on and I have lots of trainers (Adidas and others) to compare
Hi @tornado63o

Thanks for sharing your first deal on here

I think people have voted cold as these were posted cheaper less than a week ago here for £37.99. If you were wondering

Agree these styles tend to true to size but often the running boost types a size up is sometimes required.

Yep, that's when / where I bought my pair from.

I personally voted hot for this deal. I think new deal posters should also feel encouraged by other and more experienced deal posters

I do think the cold voting is a bit off here. If the price isn't competitive or there are better deals out there ( for the same item) then those voting cold, should perhaps highlight the alternatives. Isn't that what the community is supposed to be about?

I know you personally are one of the community champions ( I have taken advantage of some of your deals...thank you again!), but those arbitrarily voting cold for new members deals won't help any of us.

Just my opinion, of course.

Couldn’t agree more we should be welcoming new contributors who have taken the time to post.

If people are voting cold then perhaps be good enough to give a bit of feedback and let the new poster know why.

People could even consider holding off voting at all

The next deal they post might be an absolute corker.

We’ve all been new here.

Thanks and yes I agree iwith you too.....it's perfectly reasonable (and fairer) to abstain ,if in doubt, rather than just voting down.

I've done so plenty of times

And talking of absolute corkers....I've just posted one!

Sorry for the shameless plug for my own efforts

Hi there, I normally take a 9 with all footwear, formal and casual ( incl trainers) but have found than more often then not with Adidas a 9.5 fits me better. I think Nikes' are generally a truer size.

Going up a half size (not a whole size) isn't going make you look like you're wearing clown shoes or risk your tripping over every time you climb steps.

Worse case, you have a bit more wriggle room in your trainers .... sometimes that's a plus, in really hot weather!

Obviously it's best to be able to try on a few sizes in store where possible, but with an online order and a deal on HUKD (where you have to act fast !!) I opted to buy a slightly more generous size.I didn't fancy getting two pairs and returning one.

The 9.5s, fit me perfectly, I'd recommend the same based on the above. Good Luck

Thanks for your help,I range from an 8 in a Caterpillar boot to a 10 in Puma Basket, always a 9 in Nike,it differed so much between brands that I had to get my feet measured last week just to remind myself what size I actually was and measured a 9 regular width.
Where I live even visiting the adjoining larger town it seems to be hard to find shoes and trainers as shoe shops are closing on the high street, thanks once again and have a good day
