Darn it no bigger sizes, only have mine in the more expensive colours.
Heavy price
Ordered, to wear when I'm urinating.
FYI I bought a pair a while back for a similar price in an Adidas sale. Fit is true to size so order accordingly. Relatively comfortable too all things considered although it definitely feels solid and hefty at the same time.

Unfortunately I just can’t seem to get on with them as I feel more comfortable squatting barefoot.
No pick up?

No pick up?

Lots of connotations there.

Powerlift shoes. Pick up truck. Very good

"No pick up" Powerlifters used to lift them by the bumper. Very good.
Had a pair of these for the last 6 months. I found they definitely made my squat more consistent and comfortable. Squatting from a shoe with a solid base is a massive improvement.
They’re a great investment if you’re trying to improve your lifts in deadlift/squats. Went from doing them in socks to these and it definitely benefits me personally

It's more the heel, as it means less ankle mobility required
Great price. I paid £75 five years ago for my Powerlift 2's and they are still going solid.
As someone who squats comfortably without these, will they help that much? Like what do they offer that barefoot doesn’t?

I’ve been debating getting some for a while and this seems like a decent enough time

That's true. I didn't have ankle mobility problems before buying them. However I'd definitely say the heel could be more inclined. The Adidas Adipowers heels are much better but that shoes more than twice the price so it's obviously not comparable

Had a pair for a few years now, can’t squat or deadlift without them. I use to do it barefoot but the gym changed the flooring to laminate and My feet would slide outwards with socks on so got a pair of these lasted well

From my experience, if you can hit full depth on squats normally then this will actually reduce ROM . I found out the difference once I went back to flat sole shoes. I was hoping that the Adipower would help with the arches on my feet as I felt the flat sole shoes didn’t have the support when squatting heavy.

I had a pair of Powerlifts I think. See below. Used for a few years but eventually sold them.

I wear size 9 in Nike’s but needed a 9.5 in these. Well built and now well priced:)
I like to lift just wearing my gripper socks, I’m quite flat footed, not sure if these will help much
Ordered thanks ;-)
In sizes for only the vertically challenged bodybuilders

Respect for still standing up when you pee.

You don't?
I ordered these a couple months ago, I’m a size 10.5 with wide foot, the 11’s fit perfect.

It’s also true that the heel isn’t raised a lot but it helps and the solid base feels great, they feel slightly bulky and won’t win any fashion competitions but I’m extremely happy at this price

If money isn’t an issue the Nike romeleo 3’s would be my choice or the adipowers but these will do the trip for most.
These are a must have for more serious high bar squat and Olympic weightlifting.
Are these like the other power lifts with not as big a raised heel?

Looks like 3/4 of an inch to me, which is typical.
The Adidas Powerlift 4 offers a .6″ heel height that is constructed high-density EVA foam. Generally, if you are new weightlifting or lifting in an elevated heel, then this heel height is a nice introductory point to lifting with an elevated heel. It’s a good in-between option from a flatter shoe like a Converse to the traditional .75″ weightlifting shoe heel height.
I just go barefoot for all my leg work
ordered a pair, hot!
How would these help with my lifts?

For some reason I really like the look of these. Does anyone know if they are ok to just wear casual, or is the heal too hard?

Yeah, have been waiting weeks to get a pair of size 12s at a decent price. Got 11.5, but these are pretty neat around the toes and had to send them back.
I ordered 2 pairs, an 11 and 11.5, as my powerlift 2's were an 11 and I had seen the sizing on these came up half a size small. Both were too small unfortunately so would advise possibly having to go a size bigger than usual....
I also noticed that the left shoe on both pairs had a manufacturing fault. The sole was bent so your foot wouldn't actually be stable on the floor.
Been lifting in leather Converse hi-tops for years and never noticed a problem. What does the elevated heel with lifting shoes give you?

Better dorsal flexion. Just allows you to sit deeper into your hips going into the hole. Same reason you see people squatting with 2.5kg under their heels.

You're pushing onto a solid surface from the shoe so more power on the way up. Easier to get to depth too. If definitely recommend squat shoes
Ordered these yesterday for £35, only really for squats and deadlifts.

Was going to post the deal but didn't have time, good thing someone else did.

Mine arrive tomorrow.
