Great clean sheets here I come!

You've posted gloves and a net?....are you a retired/retiring keeper....Edwin, is that you?

....or maybe Shay Given has just realised he's screwed. Either way, Nice 1 OP.

Thank you

Perhaps Petr Cech should get some of these!
PS on the other hand, don't bother, just keep letting in the goals old man!

I'm a Goalkeeper (a very good one) Which gloves are good?

a great "saving" to be had here! heat added

If you were a very good goalkeeper, you'd probably know what gloves were good

Im an experianced (not good) goal keeper, the cheaper gloves are generally a false ecconomy. Plus they dont have much grip. the stiching between the thumb and index finger generally go fast.
If its a spare pair for a team for random players to cover with fine, but i wouldnt if you want them as your first choice.
i generally go here
prodirectsoccer.com/spe…S=1

oh forgot to say,
but if you want a cheap pair good find op.

Worst gloves I've ever had were nike Spyne. £26 and they just fell apart really quickly

Go for some fingersaves; protect you from injury and give you much better shot stopping power. Well worth the extra expense if you value your dexterity; I previously dislocated my thumb when using cheaper gloves

Size 10 - Can somebody shed some light on the sizing of keeper gloves? Is a size 10 ok for your average adult bloke

Got mines today. Great find!

I got these last week and there ok for messing around or 5 a side. When i bought them they also had some nike gloves for 4.99 but this cam with a small glove bag.

ubiquity

but in your case, the more expensive fingersave/spyne gloves wouldn't have given you any extra protection because the spines only protect the four fingers. your thumb is as 'exposed' in these expensive gloves as they are in the cheapo gloves.

got a couple of pairs for 5aside. Seem comfortable & quite grippy & fit fine on my shovel hands, so may be a bit big for your smaller person.

Just to note I didn't get the gloves in the picture, They were blue & White & green, with 'petr cech' on the wrist strap. NOT yellow & white as the pic on argos website. Still seem decent for a fiver so hot.

i got 3 pairs because i get through them that quickly

i got the pair in the picture, a black pair and the Petr Cech ones detailed above. i don't like the cech ones, they look like seconds because the foam grip goes all the way down to where the glove stops (where you normally have a wrap-around strap)
