Got these for my son after his pair of £45 clarks lasted just 3 months!
Excellent shoe for the price and much harder wearing than clarks seem to have become.
Also do lace version in bigger sizes...

Got these is December 2018 and will be still
being used when son goes back school after the holidays as still in good condition 😃

Also free personalisation,Saves them going walkies!!

Wouldn’t use Clarks again,Certainly not the producer of quality footwear they used to be!

Was just going to ask if they scuff easily? My 9 year old is getting a bit better with his school shoes but still tends to scuff them playing footy. He's at "that age" where he the kids in his year are wearing the branded clothing and footwear....gone are the asda clothes lol
Why are so many trainers plastic these days

I was just making a generalisation as you can still pay a lot for trainers that are plastic.
I don’t know about the lace ups but the Velcro ones lasted my 9yr old only till Christmas last year for school they were awful, really badly made and scuff and chip to easy the toes were all white where the plastic stuff came off

I found that years ago when my son was 4(2006) and after having bought him Clarks school shoes for a couple of years,I found they were now very poorly made,I switched to Startrite which I found were a better quality

Many thanks

These are good for school my son has the velcro version they dont even look like trainers
Wish it had Kids in the title....was getting excited until I saw sizes
Liked for my 4 year old to start his 1st day at school however realised he cant tie his laces.
Found this one - adidas.co.uk/alt…tml with straps

I bought the Velcro version last year and they fell apart after 1 term, bits of the upper had holes showing white underneath. Unwearable. I bought clarks after that and they lasted the rest of the year and are still good.
Not very good feel apart after a few weeks.
£20 at next!!
Velcro version are even a bit cheaper at sport direct and comes with few colour versions
