Some people don't want to or can't. PCPartPicker gives about £840 minimum for this build (assuming you can find that GPU in stock for close to £275), so with build and shipping included £900 isn't too bad.
less than 30 days ago i got a 1060 6gb for £261, now its £350 :O

That's true mate - it's definitely a good price
Would get the same gaming performance with an i5 7500 processor with that graphics card, so processor is a bit of a waste of money if just for gaming. If you can self build then its the way forward. This probably has a £50 motherboard and no name PSU. For this price you could put in a gaming motherboard an overclockable i5 8600k (which easily beats this i7 without overclocking) 3000mhz memory and an Nvidia GTX 1070.

Its a first gaming PC for my son so dont want to go mad. Thanks
