I usually have Admiral as my cheapest policy but looks like theyve added in quidco cashback on policies.

£45 for single
quidco.com/adm…-MS

£70 for multicar
quidco.com/adm…-MS

Thought it may help someone

Pretty sure the quote you get reflects the fact you have gone through a casback website (it will be about the cashback amount more than going direct to the website).
Happy to be corrected....

well you can save the quote, then go through cashback and then login. wouldnt see what would be the problem with that. nothing stipulates that would cause a problem

Untrue. Had a similar deal last year for an Amazon cashback card and admiral were still cheapest quote by a fair distance.

Must be a fresh quote, but mine was exactly the same going direct or via Quidco, so worth re-entering info for the chance of £45

Stay well clear of these clowns.
Awful customer service, no matter how cheap they are, I would never use these crooks again.

Very true had this both with car and house insurance price would go up with the cashback

Still waiting on receiving some money from them from a non fault claim, been over a year. They have quoted the cheapest over the past few years though

I second this been over 9 months on non fault claim but still waiting on the excess refund to be sorted.

The MSE newsletter had a link that granted a £80 John Lewis voucher on a successful completion.

Good luck chasing that through!

This is hot if it tracks

Got TCB on new policy taken out on Multicar in April 2016 paid in December 2016 and that took several TCB requests to achieve!

Multicar is a joke with them now, it works out cheaper to get individual quotes and policies.

Basically you have to call them up at every renewal to get a good price, as the renewal price is always much higher. Would've voted hot but its only used for new policies. Not sure if it'll work (on new ones) if you have already obtained a quote from a comparison site first

I think it is very much pot luck whether a multicar policy works out better or not. 3 years ago myself n partner were far better off with individual policy's but this year it was over £200 cheaper for multicar. You're best off following the MSE guide on cheap car insurance. I was lucky this year that as a bonus, TCB was £105 on a joint policy & has all tracked ok .

Nice timing, my insurance hunt is just about to begin

After having been hit by a 3rd party in my car (so not at fault) Admiral were disgustingly useless at trying to handle my claim. In all, I was £2,000 down due to their negligence and it took a year for them to fob me off.

Buyers beware. I've been bitten once, never again will I insure anything through Admiral no matter how competitively priced they are.

They were great for me after a bunch of **** tried a crash for cash on me, went all the way to court and was informed every step till i got my premium reduced after it went up by £500 ! and got my no claims back...took 2 years mind you lol ! but admiral were great for me

I used to use these but past 2 years tesco has come in cheapest for me. no cashback on mine at the time though.

stay clear of this awful company. they sell your claim onto an external 3rd party if they can't make $$$ from the crash (even if its not your fault) - I'm in a court case because they referred me a car credit hire company - I got properly stitched up because I thought they had my best intentions, now the other side won't pay for my car hire because the group that they put me on to had extortionate daily rates... now I am being told I may have to pay £1500 for about 20-30 days of car hire... not cool.

If it's a non-fault claim then it will be up to the other side to refund this and therefore them they will be waiting on. Unless legal proceedings are issued through a solicitors there is no time scale of when this will be recovered and therefore nothing to do with admiral not paying you.
