Got both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. Not sure I really need this, but just couldn't resist at this price. Ordered and heat added!

Thanks, Geordie61263, you just cost me £67.99!

Great for people that would find use from it very nice price, I'm sure cold votes inc from people who would rather have cracked versions and are too tight to pay for anything!

If you are eligible for the Student Teacher Edition, that is also reduced if you go directly to Adobe and use the code ltrm30feb for 30% off Lightroom.

Just picked mine up for £42, with 8% Quidco to come off that too.

You have to be a Student, Teacher or member of staff at a School/University to qualify, or a qualified home-schooler

Yes, you need this. It's pretty much essential IMO and you will be able transform your pictures.

I've downloaded the trial and I'm struggling to see the value, even at £70 it's not cheap

I fundamentally fail to see what it does that I can't do in, for example, my favourite bulk processing programs xnview and xnconvert

    xnview.com/en/…tml

    Anyone enlighten me?

Adobe sold it for £71.34 as part of their black friday sale so definitely a bargain.

I have LR3 and that's great so imagine that this is better for a HOT price

Great find OP, paid the same in Adobe store a few months ago, well worth it.

Although I prefer Aperture on my mac I have recently started using LR on the PC and have to say i'm impressed with it. For this price it's a bargain.

That's all kinds of hot. I was happy when I paid £99 for it last year!
  19. susieqt's avatar
It's partly an Adobe discount of 30% which brings the price on their website to £74 plus p&p, so this is great price. Hot from me.

LR3 users beware - the develop module has had wholesale changes made, which breaks any presets you have set up. Check out the changes first.

Hot. Had LR4 for a while, fantastic bit of software for any photographers, I'd be lost without it now.
  23. frozenuniverse's avatar
Great software, and worthwhile upgrading from LR3 due to better image processing resulting in improved end results when developing.
  24. sebstrobist's avatar
Best software ever. My photos are only edited in LR4, no photoshop needed (for my stuff)
  25. Dwiea's avatar
Anyone know where a LR3 to 4 upgrade can be purchased for a reasonable price ? :-)

I just tried this and couldn't make it work, just gave price of 74.53? Did you just select the upgrade? If so do you need a valid license code for an old version in order to install that?

    Thanks

Better off with Lightroom 3. This version is pretty much unusable, I wouldn't buy it.
