This ADSL faceplate filter is designed to replace your existing faceplate on the standard BT NTE-5 master phone socket.

The filter has connections on the front to allow you to plug in both an ADSL modem and a telephone. On the back of the filter there are IDC terminals which allow you to connect both filtered and unfiltered extensions, which is also ideal if you need to connect a hard wired alarm system.

The filter has passed the BT SIN 346 test which means that our filter is fully compatible with both ADSL and ADSL2+ services; we only use the highest quality components in our filters.

Had this,no improvement whatsoever. Beter change service provider-this is the best solution to increase speed, which helped for me

I bought one a while ago and it never improved my BB speed either. But, it does remove the need for filters which I'm happy about.

I got one of these and it did improve my speed. I was using 2 extension cables prior to this so that is why I saw an improvement.

Not sold by amazon, it is a market place seller, not allowed.

don't ship to N.Ireland. COLD

BT won't be happy either if fitted to your incoming supply and will refuse to work on your system if called out or charge you to fit a BT one again. Saying that my normal one packed up recently and I got one of these just so I could get rid of the filter.

You are allowed to make changes to the wiring after the Master Socket, it is anything before that they can refuse to touch and then charge you for putting it back.

Although it's not quite the same thing, BT Broadband customers can get a similar 'upgrade' for FREE productsandservices.bt.com/con…tor

AFAIK their 'accelerators' still need the usual filters after installation.
