I don't understand why people still go to cinemas when home technology has …I don't understand why people still go to cinemas when home technology has improved so much. I can understand when there were video cassettes and DVDs but now we have blu rays and 4k. Just wait for the movie to be released in a few months time and save yourself loads.

True, and why eat out when you can cook at home?! Why go swimming when you can fill the bath?! Why go on holiday when you can watch tourist docs on netflix?! Why take the kids to park if you have a swing in your backyard?! I could go on and on...
Pointless if just 1 adult and a child want to go 😥

Have been using Myvodafone rewards. 2 tickets for £7 is an absolute steal! Took the 2 kids to see that Dragon film this afternoon.

Great film! They are doing dragon toys at the moment with a kids meal at Subway
Better paying limitless if you got at least 3 times a month
Sure this is not good queen englandish:

Whats a "half price adult"? Is there just one "the Odeon"?

Title should say about family ticket as miss leading

I only paid 4 quid to see into the spider verse at my local odeon before Christmas and that is pretty normal here. And that was with the £1 for premium seating which we didn't really need as the cinema had just us 2 in the screening.

Also meerkats 2-4-1 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 4 tickets for a tenner. Can't go wrong. Just gota sheep the snacks in!
Actually just looked and my local (darlington) is £3.75 for adults now and £3.25 for kids standard anyway. Even to the first screening of Captain Marvel next month its £3.75

How can you go to the Vue when there isn't one!
Edited by: "katestewart9279" 10th Feb
Yep. Better tk go monday to thursday for 4pm or earlier showing. Take kids straight from school. Done this for antman, spider-man and a few other movies. Not been recently due to after school clubs and so on.

Scottish half term starts tomorrow so it’s already available here (just because I see you have the start date for the 18th) I booked tickets earlier so I know.

I thought that was always the case with the family ticket too but just assumed because it had been posted it had maybe stopped. Either way its good for people who didn’t know.

My 4K Atmos setup is good but it still doesnt compare to the cinema.

Unless you have a dedicated blacked out sound proofed cinema room with a super duper projector it just isnt the same. The price of setting that up and buying 4k content youd prob be cheaper going to the cinema anyway.
My odeon is £4 every day
