Good alternative to the AAO. Good price too. Hot.

Voted hot!

I would have bought one if i didn't just buy an Acer aspire one the other day.

Suppose i got a good deal on it at £160 from Tesco!

I think you got the better deal. £160 for the AAO is well good, and I think it's a better machine (lower spec in some areas, but generally better on the whole).

There's a fairly useful AAO forum here: ]http//ww…um/

This is basically the Advent 4211 with a smaller screen and half the onboard memory.

find another netbook with windows xp for this price?:whistling:

Other way around - MSI make these for themselves and rebadge them as Advent for DSG Group (inc. PC World) who own Advent.

lol

Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-windows or anything either - I work in IT so inevitably I have to work with it (actually, I must be one of the five or six people who think vista is ok)- I just like open source software too
