Dixons + Currys + PCWorld = DSGi or Dixons Store Group etc. Also includes Electro World, Pixmania, Equanet and Advent Computers, so you're not going to find 'Advent' brand stocked by anone else (similar to another of their own brands, "Matsui").

Not going to vote either way as I personally wouldn't want to buy Advent, never having had any great experiences from DSG own brands. Others may think different, just as they're entitled to do so.

Follow up - I've just read the reviews of this store (click the "Currys reviews" link in the OP) and the experience of others is interesting!

Fair enough, if it's rubbish it's rubbish. Cheers for the heads up!

thought i was going to read opinions of people that had bought this product not the rantings of people that think they know it all this is a cheap brand and as you know get what you pay for value for money wise its ok comparing it to products that cost 10 times more is stupid

And the contribution that your comment makes is.... precisely what?

No comparisons were drawn with anything, either cheaper or more expensive, just go back and read the comments. As it is, you can probably get a perfectly good inkjet by a reputable brand (HP, Epson etc) from a retailer with a much higher customer satisfaction score (Play, Amazon etc) for similar money.

Given that, during the life of the printer, you're likely to run several sets of cartridges through it - each costing £25-£50, saving a tenner here or there on the purchase price is nonsensical.

I suggest you look at your comment again in the context of rantings - no capital letters, no commas, full stops or other punctuation - just makes your comment look (to use your own expression) 'stupid' or otherwise uninformed.
