I purchased a similar Advent PC last year (but with an i7 processor) from Currys Outlet and so far it's still performing very well. The PC was completely brand new out of the box,the box itself was a bit rough on the edges but inside the PC was well protected. DT1313

This seems a good price for an i5,don't be put off by the 'anti-Advent brigade'.
Wowhats

don't be put off by the 'anti-Advent brigade'.

I know people that have bought Advent machines, and when they failed Currys were an absolute nightmare to deal with, even returning the machines supposedly 'fixed', but actually just as faulty as they were in the first place.

And that was with machines bought in the shop, I can only imagine support via their ebay outlet will be 100x worse...

Feel free to buy it, but you better pray it never goes wrong.

If it wasn't Currys it would be a good price (as the warranty is worthless). Not voted.
You would struggle to buy the separate components for this price. Just ordered. Thankyou.
i've had advent pc's in the past so tempting but from past experience wouldn't touch curry's with a barge pole,i'll wait a bit longer and see what else turns up
Don't Curry's slap an Advent badge on 3rd party products? So one Advent PC could come from a cometely different supplier to another Advent PC
My old Advent net book was an MSI net book, and is still running strong today.
I don't think you can compare one experience with another, unfortunately
price looks good. Hot from me!
Sold out!
I was on Ebay, about to buy one and someone just bought the last 5. All at once.
They must need one for every room, suppose it was quite a decent price
Overpriced.

Overpriced.

Recommend something similar for this price?

Regardless of who manufactured it, Currys will be the ones that have to get it repaired, and that's where the problem lies.
Like I said before, pray it doesn't go wrong.
