Budget desktop with Windows 7 (at least £50 value?) for this price seems to be a good deal.

I bought something similar for my parents a few months back with the intention of giving them something to use for word, excel, internet, videos etc. Realised that I could overclock the CPU and I stuck in a £60 radeon 5750 and its a proper little gaming machine

A decent enough price, but only a 3 month guarantee with it.

shudnt be considered a deal, just one for sale.

Better to look at Argos ebay outlet? 12 month warranty with their refurbed stuff.

Yeah argos ebay does have the advantage of the warranty however the cheapest desktop is over £100 (70%) more than this one. Maybe a price worth paying but this ones maybe better for those wanting a vrey basic machine on a tight budget

Those on the 'tight budget' should not touch DSG (which currys is a part of) with a barge pole as they simply cannot afford to loose any money. Buying faulty unit cheaper does not immediately mean a deal as there are no bargains with DSG, you will always loose.Stay away from these cowboys.

Not bad for use as a nettop or similar.
