When you look at the price, this is really no brainer! Tegra 4 is as good as snapdragon 800 and for this price it beats the tesco hdul and 2012 nexus 7 and galaxy tab 3 7" hands down on performance! This will last you good 2-3 years with good performance to run the latest app!

While the resolution isn't the best, there's no doubting the power inside it. Barg.

trying to confirm this thanks for notifying !

If you're used to tablets that work smoothly (tab, ipad, nook), then prepare to feel let down.

Try make up a fault maybe? I'm not sure how you can return it if is already been opened box.. Any one with similar experience?

brilliant gox77 found what I was looking for !

Takes 10% off automatically for me making it £89.99 delivered, says ACC10 isn't valid

This or nook HD?

Fast performance for the price. Screen's res isn't that great and 1GB means less longevity than the Nexus 2013 (which costs a lot more).
The reviews seem to compare it to a poorly built Nexus, but am I the only one who would be very reluctant to buy anything from Nvidia which is already described as poorly built? Nvidia do have a poor reputation for poor hardware after pretty much all their 65nm products were faulty due to a poor choice of solder.
Not voted either way.

Nook HD+

Go and try them both if you can. I'd be astonished if (after doing so) you plumped for the Advent/Nvidia.

hot hot hot

The Nook HD (or even better the HD) has a really nice screen and is feels well built. Guess it depends if you want the features this has which the Nook doesn't like the GPS or cameras (although the front camera in this is meant to be so-so).

This is a deal picked up one this morning reserved at 6am, queried the 10% and showed manager the website and they reduced it to the £89.99 the build quality of mine is great just showed it to a few people in the office, anyone who says this isn't hot is mad!

Yes this has not got the screen of a 2013 nexus however it does still have a good screen same spec as 2012 nexus, the 1 gb memory is a bit of a downer however for £90 are you joking me if you think this is cold. Good post (was going to post this morning but worried someone else might nab one first lol).

For me I bought this due to reviews and specs, also the factor that nexus 2013 is mid cycle and don't want to spend £200 to be outdated in 6 months thus £90 will do me and worse comes worse get the next nexus!

The Nook HD has a nice screen, but what future support is it going to get? All Tegra Note tablets are said to get 4.3 shortly, and 4.4 is meant to be coming along as well.

Right now if I was buying an Android tablet I'd be choosing between a Tegra Note and the Nexus 7 2013.

Seriously people this HOT HOT HOT.

£90 for a Tegra 4 powered Android Tab.= Total NO BRAINER. More than 1Gb is ONLY required for multi-tasking, games which is what this is for are totally optimised anyway.

Ordered, thanks OP.

Still waiting on ISME to refund my £50 from the Nook HD I ordered one and a half months ago, waste of space courier YODEL ...

I hope this isn't being delivered by YODEL lololol.

Any way to get the extra 10% off for store collection?

Is there a 10" version?

Purchased this on Saturday when it was a hot deal - just rang them and asked them to honour 7 day price promise - which they are doing. This is the best bang per buck tablet out there at the moment.

Feels faster than my original Nexus 7 (2012) plus it has Micro SD and hdmi out and the stylus. I cannot see any reason to buy any other 7 inch tablet, unless you need the higher res screen.

Same here, ordered - thanks!

Didn't even need a tablet but seems an excellent deal given the Tegra hardware and reasonable 7" IPS screen.

no 10" version of this . hmm pc world or currys .wonder if you can get the extended warranty on this .

Great deal for a decent tablet.

Screen resolution is the same as the 2012 Nexus 7 which I find is great. Personally I find the rush to ever higher resolution screens on tablets a bit baffling. In real world use having a ridiculously high resolution screen in a 7 inch device makes little difference to the image quality.

ACC 10 says - 10% off tablet and iPad accessories using promotion code @ PC World so not tablets just accessories.

However £10 off a £100 spend is available on O2 Priority Moments

Have any of you who already have this tablet, tried the hdmi out? Does it use a proprietary cable or standard (micro) hdmi cable?
