Adventure Island Southend Cheap wrist bands 40% for any time in 2014 - £15

Posted this last year and its on again, its a limited time offer to buy tickets for a wristband for Adventure Island in Southend, buy them now while they are cheap and wait until one of the warm days we might get in the summer.

This park has free entry! you only pay to ride, so unlike other parks parents can visit and watch without needing to pay for a band.

Go to the official website and pre order your wrist bands for use in 2014, top level band is currently only £15 instead of £25, mid range bands £12 instead of £20 and the Toddler red bands are £9 instead of £15 - plus if you get there and you ordered the wrong level of band they will refund or just charge the extra on the day.

Also you can upgrade your wrist band to get into the Sealife centre for about £3.50, and add discounted meals so you can be paid up and not need to take a small fortune with you on the day.

Another good thing is parents DO NOT need a wrist band to ride with small children-you buy the children the wrist band and you ride with them for free.

Highly underrated theme park this - If you live in London you can get a cheap return from Fenchurch Street and it's a really beautiful train journey along the coast - just over 40 minutes as I recall.

Southend has plenty to do and isn't that chavvy these days.

Heat from me.

Thanks for the tourism plug m8, but the council won't thank u ...they purposely keep the tourists away by not telling people about the place

Actually I agree - when I lived in London none of my mates would even consider going to Southend even though it's close. They all went to Brighton instead which although it's better for shopping doesn't have a very nice beach and the rides are almost non existent.

You can buy tickets cheaper all year around through Southend Hospital. or if you're in the forces you can get cheaper tickets too.

Thx I'm only 20 mins from there and it'll make a cheap day out in the hols

Southend is not bad at all. Certainly looks in better shape than Margate where I visited last year.

The sea life centre is well worth a look too and is only a few minutes walk from this.

I have lived near Southend all my life (hence my name and avatar) and the Sea Life centre is NOT good!

fifthsouthchurch scout group on Facebook do them at about the same prices and you can use them any day of the year after purchase.

For a couple of quid I thought it was ok, not the biggest or best aquarium I have visited but for the price almost certainly the cheapest, plus my girls spent nearly twenty minutes staring at a REALLY big crab! Which got us inside during a brief rain shower.

Southend is a decent day out and the place has been smartened up a lot over the years. Brighton has been left to rust and rot and I apart from the pier, Pavilion and the over-rated Lanes looks in a pretty bad way. I was really disappointed last time I went there.

Any idea how much longer these are on offer for?

This offer has finished now! Cheapest was to get tickets at the moment is with Tesco Club card vouchers as £2 gets you £10 towards the wristbands, otherwise you can go via the link but the savings aren't as good now the season has started.
