How long have AEG been making drills? I thought they just did white goods as an off-shoot of Electrolux.

AEG have been making proper big boy's drills for years.

Am voting cold, and maybe I shouldn't but palces like Screwfix will give you a better brand for the same money.
14.4V is a little low for the combi drill, I upgraded to an 18v Ryobi with Lithium battery for £70 and it blew the old drill away, whereas I have a 12v Bosch which is light and flexible for small jobs.

These 2 would have cost together would have cost about £110 I guess.

Not sure why you would need 4 batteries and two chargers if they take the same batteries so it seems that someone has simply put these two drills together instead of thinking what someone buying them would need, unless you could split them between two of you.

This Ryobi kit would be my preferred option for the cash, but sadly not a new style charger or lithium batteries

That said it seems a good price compared to the same drill elsewhere
