Of course it will. I used mine the other day to cut 3 x 2s
when did AEG tool get so cheep,

was a time these were best of the best and cost to reflect .
What battery does it take?
Doing a lot d.i.y decking soon, is a circular saw something I should be buying?

It will definitely help, but I would personally if you have lots of angled joins, use a mitre sae
Seems cheap but not really worth it if you don't already have a battery and charger.

I’d recommend a mitre saw for that job

buy a new or second hand dewalt then sell it on after. The cost you lose will be cheaper than a new cheap saw. New from the factory they’re setup perfectly accurate unlike any other brand. If second hand, once setup, they’re hairpin accurate and won’t move. Same can’t be said of any chepw tools.

£72.50 for battery and charger

But if you already have the battery and charger then this is a great price. However, if you buy the battery and charger, then you can get 4 power tools for around an extra £100
Just what I was looking for. Already got the spare batteries with the cordless drill from the CPC deal on here a while back. Happy days, cheers OP.

No it was cpc.farnell.com/aeg…ill Slightly less torque I believe, thought I’d get the impact driver whilst I was at it too. I’ve been very impressed with the drill so far although I’ve not really given it many challenges, I’ve got some bigger jobs lined up this summer. Just bought the SDS drill on the Homebase too whilst there, don’t need it but you never know...

Still a sweet deal. I've looked at the cost of the charger and a 4-6Ah battery and decided to pass on this deal. On some other forums I've seen that larger capacity battery's are capable of delivering larger currents. This video (from 9:45) even shows the difference for impact drivers.
