I had a top of the range one few years back. Didn't last more than the warranty period. Be aware it's not the same quality as before, but then what is these days!

Our AEG lasted 15 years lot better than my current Bosh which only lasted 3 years till it had to be fixed.
My next one will be going back to AEG (edited)

Thanks OP, ordered as our LG is on the way out after 10 years service.

There’s nothing wrong with Chinese made products. The iPhone and iPad I use are all made in China. So let’s stop this garbage of a message that Chinese products don’t last. They do.

Sorry but that's not been the experience of people who purchase Chinese brands. Using Apple, the leading company in the world known for their supply chains, does not further your argument.

Nothing wrong with Chinese, as far as europe or Italians go , they churn out some of the worst stuff on the market., AEG is not what it use to be , hardly any of these companies are.

Everything is wrong with the Chinese. Nothing they make lasts and their aftersales support makes AEG seem like Amazon. You clearly don't have a clue about the brand in question! (edited)

Looks great. Wish they did it in black!

Just buy Miele. It’s a better investment in the long run.

Sure but it costs 3X. Your next best option is a Siemens at 2X and then this AEG, which ironically used to compete with both!

Is this more reliable than an LG?

Yes, a slight edge to AEG. Only Miele or Siemens are more reliable.

At normal prices, LG is considered better value for money but not the best product. At this price, the AEG wins hands down!

Looks like it has almost sold out so better be quick! (edited)
